This is it from the live coverage of this game with Birmingham Phoenix winning it by 4 runs. That’s it for today from myself Nikhil Kalla alongside my co-commentators Arya with our scorer/analyst Chandan Kr Singh. See you soon again with more games to follow till then stay safe.

Moeen Ali ( Captain Birmingham Phoenix ): "These are the kind of games that you want to win. The pressure was on them as the target was not big enough and that in a way helped us. Tahir is a brilliant bowler but the pacers were outstanding today and the track seemed to help the pacers so we bowled more of them. Our bowlers bowled really well. It gives opportunities to our other bowlers as we have some players out with injuries. I feel this game in particular is good for the team's confidence. I am really happy with the team's performance."

Player of the Match | Kane Richardson:"Along with me, Helm deserves a lot of credit too. That's the benefit of batting first, they tell you what the opposition did well and you try to emulate it and get the better out of the resources available. We got wickets upfront and that helped massively in a character-building win. Everyone's really happy with this victory as we did not bat well but after defending this low target we are delighted as a unit."

NIKHIL: So, we are done here with Birmingham Phoenix winning the game as they defeat Welsh Fire by 4 runs, Welsh have failed to chase down the target of 130 runs.

Birmingham Phoenix started Sluggishly as they lost their top order cheaply. After 33 deliveries they were stationed motionlessly at 35 for the loss of 4 wickets. Smeed, Moeen, Liam, and Benjamin all perished in quick succession. It was Wade and Hammond who build up a good partnership of 52 runs that helped the team to reach a total of 130 runs. Wade scored 38 runs while Howell added a good cameo of 21 runs as he stayed till the end.

For Welsh Fire, Payne and Scrimshaw took a couple of wickets while, Zampa, Ball, and Cobb took a wicket each.

In reply to the target set by the Phoenix, Welsh started cautiously losing a couple of wickets in the powerplay as they managed to bag 40 runs.

Banton and Hain played well to post a total of 28 runs together after losing Clarke in the first set of 5 to Kane. Hain played a good hand of 23 runs before getting out. Once the Phoenix got rid of Banton on 44 there was all downhill for the Welsh from that point.

For Phoenix, Kane Richardson and Tom Helm took a couple of wickets each and Howell took a wicket too. Welsh had this game in their grasp till the 85th delivery but the last 15 deliveries changed this game completely.

100b T Helm to D Pretorius
4 FOUR!! Pretorius hits a boundary but this will not be enough. Phoenix have defended 130 here. Short and wide outside the off-stump, Pretorius has cut this towards backward point for a boundary.
99b T Helm to D Miller
1 Good length delivery towards the middle, Miller has hit this towards mid, wicket for a single.
10 needed of 2 now. The pressure is clearly on Miller here, he denies the single to Pretorius. This is a huge decision, can Miller pull it off?
98b T Helm to D Miller
0 Full and wide towards the off-stump, Miller has drilled this towards sweeper cover for no run. A huge decision from Miller as he refused the single.
