So this will be all from this game and what an evening this has been for the fans. Hope to see more such exciting and nail-biting clashes ahead in the tournament. Until next time, it is Vikhyat Jain signing off on behalf of Arijit Kundu. CHEERS!!
Adam Milne was the pick of the pack for the Phoenix as he claimed three wickets and choked the batsmen for runs. Later on, the other bowlers too chipped in with varied forms but it wasn't just good enough in the end to purchase them a victory, which seemed to be in their grasp lately.
What a finish this has been to this game. A perfect humdinger in every sense. The game was oscillating between the two teams right till the very end. But it was the Brave who held their nerves in the end and collected an important win here. Jordan came in the end and finished off the game in style. Brave weren't off with the best of the starts as they lost their key batsman, Quinton de Kock, quite early. Captain Vince was looking resolute to chase down the target with leading from the front. He powered his team ahead with a well-compiled half-century. Devon Conway too played a good supportive hand but it was the departure of the skipper, after which all went downhill for the Brave. With the lower order batsmen falling apart, the chase seemed to be pretty much over for the Brave but Jordan's quick cameo of 17 runs off mere 9 balls sealed the game for the Brave in the end.
