Akshay: Tom Moores is the Man of the Match for his fantastic knock of 38* of just 12 balls.
Akshay: It was the 'Spicman' who won the toss and put Devils in to bat. They didn’t had the best of the starts as Lewis departed cheaply as he was struggling for timing. The in-form Tom Kohler-Cadmore got them to a flyer as he was striking the ball nicely as he is in the tournament so far. Walton too departed cheaply and it was Davies who supported Cadmore nicely as they both stitched a very good partnership between them. Cadmore departed on 48 but Davies ensured that he stayed till the end and post a competitive total on the board. Farooqi was brilliant for the Tigers with the ball. Janat and Ahmad too picked a wicket each.
Akshay: The Tigers didn’t start the chase well as both Charles and Fletcher struggled to score freely. Fletcher in particular was struggling for timing. Due to this, Charles tried to go big and departed in the 3rd over to Amir. Suri joined Fletcher as the latter started timing the ball nicely. He took on Karan KC as he started scoring freely. Suri too took on his national captain as he scored 17 of the over. Fletcher was run out in the next over courtesy of some brilliant work from Lewis. Tom Moores arrived and changed the whole complexion of the match as he belted the bowlers all around the park. The Devils couldn't break the partnership as they suffered another loss in the competition.
Akshay: A blinder of an innings from Tom Moores seals the game for the Tigers. What a whirlwind knock that was. Remains unbeaten on 38 of just 12 balls comprising of 4 maximums. Chirag Suri was good as well for his 15 ball 30. With this, they beat Devils by 8 wickets with 7 balls to spare.
