00:45 IST and 09:15 PM Local Time| PHEW! What an enthralling match we just had. Karim Janat gets his team over the line from the jaws of defeat as they win by 4 wickets with a single ball to spare.
Here's a review of what happened in the match.
Earlier, Bangla Tigers Joburg won the toss and asked the David Warner led side to bat first. Batting first, they lost their skipper early on 0. Anamul Haque and Kobe Herft then chipped in with 24 and 21 respectively. George Linde got 2 wickets in 2 balls and put the Braves on the backfoot.
But some late hits by Nick Hobson, Wessly Madhevere and Carlos Brathwaite powered them to a competitive score of 110/5.
Chasing 111, Bangla Tigers Joburg got off to a flier they amassed 21 runs from the first over itself. However their happiness was cut short by Wellington Masakadza, as he removed Chris Lynn and Sikandar Raza on 2 successive deliveries putting Joburg side on backfoot.
George Linde then walked in and joined hands with Mohammad Shahzad. The duo put up a quickfire 39 run stand for the 5th wicket and brought their side into the game. However, both got out cheaply after it.
With 17 required from the final over, the game was tilting in Bulawayo Brave's favor. Karim Janat then smacked 2 back to back sixes followed by a four to steer his side over the line. As a result Bangla Tigers Joburg won the match by 4 wickets. Stay tuned for the presentation coming up shortly.
