11:37 PM IST, 8:07 PM Local Time: The news from the venue is that the match has been called off due to bad weather. The rain stopped, but the threat of lighting meant that match could not be resumed after it was halted. Only 8 balls were bowled and Bangladesh had lost Shamima Sultana to Mlaba for 3. Murshida Khatun and Shobana Mostary were at the crease when the weather intervened and the rain stopped while the lightning had the final say in the end.  
10:32 PM IST, 7:02 PM Local Time: The latest from the venue that we are hearing is that the rain has stopped, but the covers are still on the field. There is a threat of lightning and so as a result, the players are off. The two umpires are walking along with the groundsman and having a chat.
