Afif Hossain (Player of the Match): "UAE bowled well in powerplay, we lost three quick wickets, so had to hold the innings in the middle, we needed a partnership to take the score to 150+. I feel to have played really well today and it came in a crucial phase so I am happy, will look to continue the same for next game, thanks to all the fans here."
Nurul Hasan (Bangladesh Captain): "It was a really close game, we did pretty well in our batting, to cross over the 150 run mark, Afif batted really well to hold the innings together. Dew is a big factor here in UAE, the bowlers had known what to expect as they played in Asia Cup, they stood up well and held their nerves. Our youngsters are learning quickly and are doing really well under pressure, we will look to continue this momentum for the next match as well."
CP Rizwan (UAE Captain): "We need to improve more, but this is a learning curve for us and we will look to comeback strong in the next game. if we don't take chances of quality players, we don't have a chance to win, if we took our chances we would had restricted them under 140. Our bowlers have been doing really well in the local domestic league, the surface here has been difficult to bowl on and there is the due factor in UAE while bowling under the lights.

REVIEW || Harsh: As a result of both openers' responsible batting, UAE got off to a strong start. Muhammad Waseem was caught after making 15 runs off 15 balls. After losing the first wicket, they bounced back effectively.
A partnership of 39 runs for the second wicket between Suri and Lakara allowed them to reach the score of 66 runs. The key architect of the UAE batting lineup, Chirag Suri, was dismissed after hitting 39 runs off of 24 balls.
In the end, the tailenders performed well, but the Bangladeshi bowlers' experience helped their team win. The bowlers from Bangladesh put on an excellent effort and took the victory away from the UAE.

W ITS ALL OVER!! BANGLADESH TAKE THE GAME BY 7 RUNS!! Full and on the base of the off stump, Junaid stays on leg stump, carves it straight into the hands of Saifuddin at cover, who redeem himself for the earlier drop catch. UAE gave the tigers a good run for the money, but the experience of Bangladesh saw them come out victorious in the end.
