Hard fought runs, cleverly carved out dismissals and some rain — the last fortnight or so in Bangladesh was action-packed for this New Zealand side. They take home some memories and some lessons.

Bangladesh started by losing the first ODI and have finished by losing the last T20I too. However, in between they won everything that was there to win. They will now prepare to host Pakistan for a Test series that begins on Friday, May 8th.

We hope you enjoyed the coverage. This is the troika of Darpan Tikiya, Manan Mehta and Yogesh Kumar saying goodbye! See you soon.
6:20 PM IST and 6:50 PM Local Time: Nick Kelly and Litton Das come together to collect the winner's trophy! The two teams share the 3 Match T20I series 1-1 with one game getting abandoned by rain. It has been a fine sweet and short T20I series and both Bangladesh and New Zealand have shown flashes of brilliance from time to time.
Highest Scores in a successful chase for New Zealand vs Bangladesh in T20Is:

73*- Kane Williamson, Napier, 2017

70*- Devon Conway, Christchurch, 2022

62*- Bevon Jacobs, Mirpur, 2026, Today*

56*- Brendon McCullum, Hamilton, 2010
Nick Kelly (New Zealand captain): "(His thoughts on the series) Great series. We really enjoyed our time here.

(On Josh Clarkson's spell) Awesome. We spoke a lot after the last game that we did not get the plans right. But we were very good today.

(On the run chase) Shoriful bowled well up top. But Bevon soaked it up and then, we got to see his power at the back end."
Towhid Hridoy (Player of the Series): "(On the series in general) That was a very good team effort and hopefully we will try and continue this in future.

(On his batting) Yeah, my batting was pretty good in this series. I should have batted for longer today, and hopefully I will do that in the future. The approach is always keeping the scorecard and the conditions in mind."
Player of the Series: Towhid Hridoy
Bevon-John Jacobs: "(Happy about his performance?) 100%. I always like to contribute to the team's cause, when I can. It was pretty special to do that today.

(What was on his mind when they were 33/4) They (Bangladesh) were obviously not going to stop fighting. Shoriful bowled beautifully to put us under pressure. But nice to have the partnership (with Dean Foxcroft).

(His thoughts on the pitch) Not bad. It was a pretty decent surface once you had your eye in and used some time. The bounce was a bit inconsistent, but not a bad wicket overall.
Player of the Match: Bevon-John Jacobs
Litton Das (Bangladesh Captain): "(How much did the rain break impact the first innings?) When we lost the toss I had said that the toss is a great factor with the rain around. Early wickets do not help. Then there was a partnership between me and Hridoy. However, the rain spoiled the rhythm.

See, 103 is never going to be enough. Shoriful in fact made a match out of it by taking early wickets. Credit must go to the New Zealand team as they batted and bowled really well.

(On the rhythm shown by Shoriful Islam) I want Shoriful to bowl like this more often than not. It helps the team a lot when he takes wickets at the top."
