Sophie Molineux (Australia Women captain): "We were in trouble at the start. I thought Kappy (Marizanne Kapp) and (Shabnim) Ismail bowled really well. But the way the girls bounced back and climbed over in the bowling innings was very positive.

(On the fact that they kept attacking despite losing wickets) That is the way we want to play. We have a top order and middle order who can play along the ground. They are at their best when they are attacking.

(On Litchfield) She is amazing. Extremely skilful. Her game smarts are going through the roof now. She will be a very important player for us in this tournament.

(On her decision-making as the captain) I get a lot of help with that. Right people in right place. You have to go with the gut a little bit. Sometimes it pasy off sometimes it does not."
Laura Wolvaardt (South Africa Women Captain): "[Thoughts on the game] Yeah, tough day today. I thought we had a good first half. Restricting them to that total was a good effort from us. But it was a disappointing performance from us with the bat.

[On that score] A little bit above par. But we would have backed ourselves to chase it down. Lost the momentum going into the innings.

[Happy to see Kapp and Shabnim back in the side?] Awesome to have them back. It's been long time since we have bowled like that in the powerplay. Khaka and Mlaba were also good in the middle overs.

[On her knock] It was hard to get going. A bit of frustrating innings. They closed out my areas and kept me quiet.

[Will we continue to see de Klerk bat at four?] I think so. I think it's nice to stack our line-up like that. Have that power in the middle order.

[You will be looking to fightback, right?] Definitely. Still a long tournament to go. We will put this game behind as quickly as we can and move forward."

Best Bowling Figures for Australia vs South Africa in WT20Is

Georgia Wareham: "(What gives her the confidence to keep attacking with the bat even when the team is in trouble?) With our batting line-up, you can play with confidence and freedom. I thought Phoebe Litchfield was awesome in the way she played. Good all-round performance overall.

(Her role in that bowling group?) Depending on the day. We just try to be versatile and communicate on the field. Our job is simple: keep it tight. We are a good bowling unit. Good to be a part of the team.

(Was she deliberately put in the high-traffic areas in the field?) I usually try to get myself on the boundary. I think I was a bit out of position at extra cover (where she took Wolvaardt's catch). I and Ash (Gardner) usually try to be in hotspots.

(On her captain) Soph's (Sophie Molineux) been awesome in instilling a lot of freedom, making the group believe."
