The trio of Akshay Bhide, Abhishek Sharma and Mohammad Anab, signing off, on behalf of scorer Dushyant Madhukar Kumar. Bye bye.
A tame end to the third and final game of the T20I series. Australia seal the series with a 2-0 margin and retain the Rose Bowl. That's it from all of us for this series. Keep joining us for more cricketing action all around the globe.
The toss was delayed due to rain and when the game started almost an hour later, it was reduced to a 14-over per side contest. However, only 2.4 overs were bowled into the game before the rain gods decided to make their presence felt again. Those 16 balls saw White Ferns batters struggling against the Aussie bowlers. The Kiwis could manage only 11/2 with skipper Amelia Kerr (4) and Georgia Plimmer (2) back in the dugout before the rain had the final say.

4:15 PM IST, 9:45 PM Local Time: Scratch the previous update. The rain is back and so are the covers. Looks like we might just be done for the day. The umpires are now having a chat with both the captains. Amelia Kerr and Sophie Molineux shake hands and that's it. The third T20I has been called off due to rain. With that, Australia seal the three-match series with a 2-0 margin.
4:05 PM IST, 9:35 PM Local Time: Good news, folks. The rain has stopped. The groundsmen have started removing the covers. The Australian players have started warming up on the outfield. However, the outfield still has wet patches. We have got a start time. The action will resume at 4:20 PM IST (9:50 PM Local Time). It will be a 5-over per-side contest.
3:59 PM IST, 9:29 PM Local Time: The umpires are having a chat with both the captains. They still have their umbrellas up. It's still raining.
3:55 PM IST, 9:25 PM Local Time: The umpires are on the field but with their umbrellas. It is still raining heavily at the venue. The latest we can restart is 4:20 PM IST (9.50 PM Local Time) for a five-over contest but it is unlikely to happen, given the amount of rain we have had so far.
3:41 PM IST, 9:11 PM Local Time: The rain is still pelting down at the North Sydney Oval. The covers are firmly in place and the waiting game continues.
