That's it from the coverage of the 4th T20I between India and Australia from the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Karthik Raj and scorer Yogesh. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from across the globe.
Tahlia McGrath (Australia stand-in Captain): "Very proud of the team and happy to wrap up the series. I knew the role, I had some great support with Schutt and Ash supported me a lot. The bowlers did their job well. We played reasonably similar with the quicks and then the spinners got some turn. We had an exciting game on the cards."
Ashleigh Gardner: "It was a good pitch. Every pitch we have played on this tour has been good. Being a bowler is tough sometimes but its good I can do a bit of both. When you get a fuller delivery, it was getting easy to hit down the ground so I varied my pace and bowled into the wicket. You have to mix up the length both full and short and I managed to do that tonight. We had issues before coming here that the pitches are gonna turn square but it has been very good so far."
Ashleigh Gardner is the player of the match.
Harmanpreet Kaur (India Captain): "We were in the game but just one or two overs made the difference. We still had Deepti and Richa after I got out but the 18th over which fetched only three runs was a key moment. Really proud of the way we bowled in the first ten overs although I know we weren't good after that. I got injured during the Asia Cup, hence not bowling at the moment. Hopefully, will be back fully fit soon."
Time for the Post-match Presentation!
A terrific game of T20 cricket going down the wire as Australia manage to win a thriller by 7 runs and clinched an unassailable lead by 3-1. India won the toss and elected to bowl first. Australia scored a strong total of 188/3 on the back of Ellyse Perry's unbeaten 72 and some handy knocks from Ashleigh Gardner (42) and Grace Harris (27* off 12).

Deepti Sharma was the pick of the bowlers getting the first breakthrough for the team inside the powerplay and also sent back Gardner later in the innings. Radha Yadav chipped in with the third wicket as all the other bowlers were expensive.

India got a good start but both the openers were sent back in the hut in quick succession inside the powerplay by Ashleigh Gardner and Darcie Brown. Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur added 72 runs for the fourth wicket with Devika Vaidya and kept the women in blue in the hunt.

After the skipper's dismissal, Vaidya was the last person to depart in the 18th over. Enters Richa Ghosh at number 6 and plays a superb cameo of 40* off 19 deliveries with four fours and 2 massive sixes making the crowd believe that India can still win with 20 needed off the final over.

Megan Scutt successfully defended the total in the final over but was expensive finishing with 0/44. Player of the match Ashleigh Gardner was the pick of the bowlers finishing with 2/20 in her 4 overs. Leg break bowler Alana King also bowled a terrific spell of 2/23 and chipped in with the important middle order wickets of the Indian skipper and Jemimah Rodrigues.

Stay tuned for the post match presentation.
Ellyse Perry: "The game is continuing to evolve and grow, so you have to go with it. We have few blips along the way like Alyssa Healy's injury but it was nice to finish the innings like that. Sports has always been a joy and it is great to play along with this group. Nothing has changed too much but just different roles in different teams. This tour of India has been just phenomenal. The crowd at the first two T20Is and the atmosphere here too. It is so exciting for the game here in India. The Women's IPL is the next frontier for the women's game. We have seen what the WBBL and the Women's Hundred have done for the sport."
