So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj and my co-commentator, AkshayaKrishna. Do stay tuned to OneCricket and CricketExchange's coverage of a lot more matches
Matthew Gilkes, Player of the match: " I was throwing wickets earlier in the tournament but I played very well today to be honest. I like to play at the top order as many top players do the same. They bat top of the order and I too like it as well. In the changing room the coaches and the captain Green are very supportive and they help me out when it is most needed. Happy for the win and looking forward for the next one."
A tame finish to the game in the end as the Adelaide Strikers have been rolled over for 144! They lose by 28 runs to go down back-to-back against Sydney Thunder. The opening duo of Jake Weatherald and Matt Short started the 173-run chase in a positive way. However, Thunder overseas signing Mohammad Hasnain almost finished the match in the third over as he got a triple-wicket maiden. After Matt Short picked out Daniel Sams at square-leg off a harmless delivery, Hasnain bowled a cracking in-swinger to rap Weatherald plumb in front.

Jonathan Wells was then undone by the Pakistani's pace as he mis-timed a short ball to Ben Cutting at short mid-wicket. Sheffield Shield opener Henry Hunt struggled for a while before he was stumped off a beautiful leg-break from Jason Sangha. Sangha was in the wickets once again when Matt Renshaw miscued a big shot to Chris Green at long-off.

At 65-5, Thunder were struggling but the young duo of Harry Nielsen and Thomas Kelly stitched an impressive 45-run partnership off 29 balls. Just when things were looking good, Kelly was run-out by the man of the moment, Matthew Gilkes. Rashid Khan quickly departed as he failed to execute a whippy cover drive off Saqib Mahmood and ended up presenting Jonathan Cook a simple catch at covers.

Nielsen and Wes Agar still tried to make a match out of it but the duo found boundary-scoring quite difficult against some impressive bowling from Thunder. In the end, Wes Agar was beautifully deceived by a Daniel Sams length delivery while Saqib Mahmood castled Peter Siddle with a yorker on the leg-stump. The Thunder skipper Chris Green brought an end to the game as he miscued an attempted lofted off-drive to Ben Cutting

W IT'S OVER!!! Full and wide, Nielsen looks to go over long-off but he doesn't generate enough power. Ben Cutting slides in and takes a cracking low catch!!
