The Bangladesh Premier League has just concluded with the Mahedi Hasan-led team Rajshahi Warriors lifting the trophy in the final against Chattogram Royals.

The tournament itself, though marred by controversies, was an exciting event to watch with international stars gracing the competition with their skills on the field. Besides stars, there were national and domestic talents as well who shone through to emerge as the best performers in BPL 2025-26.

With the conclusion of the tournament and with a pool of talent in the league, let’s take a look at the BPL team of the tournament for the 2025-26 edition.

Playing XI for Team of The Tournament - BPL 2025-26

Openers and Top Order- Parvez Emon, Tanzid Hasan and Mohammad Naim

Parvez Hossain Emon can be a perfect opener for the BPL Team of the Tournament 2026. Emon, who represented Sylhet Titans in this edition, played 12 matches and scored 395 runs, averaging 39.50, which underlines his ability to provide a solid foundation at the top of the order.

Alongside Emon, Tanzid Hasan, who represented Rajshahi Warriors in this edition, can be an ideal opening partner. He scored 356 runs from 13 BPL innings while maintaining a strike rate of 136.39 at an average of 27.38, making him a strong attacking option at the top.

Batting at No. 3, Mohammad Naim, who represented Chattogram Royals, can serve as a dependable anchor in case of any early setbacks. He accumulated 272 runs from 12 matches in the tournament and registered a strike rate of 121.97, which reflects balance and his role as a crucial link between the top and middle order.

Moreover, all three players bring balance to the lineup and operate comfortably in their natural roles at the top, without disrupting their individual playing styles.

Middle Order and All-Rounders- Towhid Hridoy, Najmul Hossain Shanto (c), Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Mahedi Hasan and Khushdil Shah

Towhid Hridoy, who represented Rangpur Riders this season, can comfortably bat at No. 4 after producing phenomenal returns of 382 runs from his 11 appearances in the 2025–26 season. He maintained an impressive strike rate of 137.90 while averaging 38.20, which underlines his consistency with the bat.

Batting next, Najmul Hossain Shanto, who is also the captain of the Team of the Tournament, can serve as a reliable number five batter. One of the most impactful batters of the competition, the Rajshahi Warriors skipper amassed 355 runs from 13 innings, highlighting his dominance and stability in the middle order.

Following Shanto, wicketkeeper-batter Mushfiqur Rahim, who represented Rajshahi Warriors, can step in as a suitable number six, bringing experience and composure to the lineup.

Once the middle order is set, Mahedi Hasan and Khushdil Shah can contribute as valuable all-rounders. Mahedi Hasan scored 177 runs in the tournament and also claimed 15 wickets, making him highly effective with both bat and ball.

Complementing him is Pakistan’s Khushdil Shah, who represented Rangpur Riders this season and accumulated 229 runs from his 11 appearances, while also picking up four wickets with his crafty spin.

Bowlers- Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam and Nasum Ahmed

The bowling lineup will be led primarily by pace bowlers Shoriful Islam and Mustafizur Rahman. Shoriful Islam finished as the highest wicket-taker of the tournament with 26 scalps at an outstanding average of 10.07 from 12 innings.

Mustafizur Rahman, meanwhile, was among the most impactful bowlers of the competition, claiming 16 wickets from 10 innings.

The pace duo will spearhead and strengthen the bowling attack, while Nasum Ahmed, one of the leading spin wicket-takers of the tournament, adds variety with his slow left-arm orthodox bowling. Representing Sylhet Titans this season, Nasum consistently troubled batters with his control and variations.

Alongside these three frontline bowlers, additional support from Mahedi Hasan and Khushdil Shah provides depth and balance, giving the attack enough firepower to challenge even the most solid batting lineups.
