Time to conclude this coverage, folks! Thank you for staying with us for all the updates. For now, it's me, Deepak Prakash, signing off on behalf of scorer/analyst Rajesh Pal. CHEERS!
6:12 PM IST, Local Time: Unfortunately, the rain has been relentless, and the match has been called off, with only the toss possible in this warm-up fixture. Australia had just one warm-up match scheduled, and that too was washed out due to heavy rain at the R. Premadasa Stadium.

Australia will play their opening match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup against Ireland on February 11, while the Netherlands will feature in the tournament opener against Pakistan on February 7.
5:16 PM IST, Local Time: Uh-Oh! We were almost set for the live action, but the rain has returned, and the covers are back on.
Netherlands Playing Squad: Max O'Dowd, Michael Levitt, Bas de Leede, Colin Ackermann, Scott Edwards (c & wk), Zach Lion Cachet, Noah Croes, Logan van Beek, Aryan Dutt, Roelof van der Merwe, Timm van der Gugten, Paul van Meekeren, Fred Klaassen, Kyle Klein, Saqib Zulfiqar
Australia Playing Squad: Mitchell Marsh (c), Xavier Bartlett, Cooper Connolly, Josh Inglis (wk), Tim David, Cameron Green, Nathan Ellis, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Matthew Kuhnemann, Glenn Maxwell, Matthew Short, Marcus Stoinis, Adam Zampa
Toss Update: Australia won the toss and opted to bat first.
4:50 PM IST, Local Time: It's raining at R. Premadasa Stadium and the toss has been delayed.
Australia fast bowler Josh Hazlewood is likely to miss the early part of the T20 World Cup, as he will stay back in Sydney to continue his rehabilitation from an Achilles injury. Hazlewood was initially sidelined with a hamstring strain that ruled him out of the start of the England series, before suffering the Achilles issue during his recovery.
It’s time for the warm-up fixture between Australia and the Netherlands at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

Australia come into this game looking to find their rhythm after a tough recent series in Pakistan, with skipper Mitchell Marsh keen to settle on his best top-order combination. Big hitters like Travis Head and Glenn Maxwell will look to adjust to the slower Sri Lankan surface, while the bowling unit will aim to make the most of the conditions.

The Netherlands, led by Scott Edwards, see this match as an important test against one of the tournament favourites. The Dutch side has shown encouraging signs in recent times and will bank on the all-round skills of Bas de Leede along with the experience of Logan van Beek to put up a strong challenge against the Australian outfit.

The match is scheduled to get underway at 5:00 PM IST/Local Time today, giving both teams a valuable opportunity to fine-tune their combinations ahead of the main tournament
