Afghanistan have registered a victory by 23 runs over the West Indies in the T20 WC warm-up fixture. That's it from our live coverage of this warm-up match. This is Mohammad Anab signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal and our scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar. Stay tuned for the last warm-up game of the day between India and South Africa, set to start at 7 PM IST & local time.
6:37 PM IST, Local Time: End of the game. Afghanistan have registered a victory by 23 runs in this warm-up fixture against the West Indies. The Caribbean side end their innings at 159/7 in their 20 overs. A clinical bowling performance in all departments by the Afghan side. West Indies will need to fix their problems, especially in the top order, ahead of the start of the T20 World Cup.

After being sent in to bat first, Afghanistan posted a score of 182/6. The star performers with the bat were Ibrahim Zadran (51), Rahmanullah Gurbaz (43) and Azmatullah Omarzai (35). For West Indies, only spinner Gudakesh Motie had a decent day with the ball. In reply, West Indies had a very poor start. They lost their skipper Shai Hope (5), early, and soon his opening partner Brandon King (11) followed him to the pavilion.

Before the end of the powerplay, the side had lost four of their wickets. Later, Rovman Powell hung in the middle and tried to take the game deep but got dismissed on an arm ball by Mohammad Nabi for 32 (27).

After Powell's dismissal, the side was struggling at 82/7 in the 14th over. But then Jason Holder and Matthew Forde decided to take West Indies to a respectable score. The duo stitched a 77-run unbeaten partnership for the eighth wicket. Holder made 25* (23) while Forde went on to bring up his half-century and remained unbeaten at 52 off just 26 balls.

For Afghanistan, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Azmatullah Omarzai impressed with the ball by picking up two wickets each. Fazalhaq Farooqi also impressed with the new ball while Ziaur Rahman Sharifi generated extra bounce off the pitch.

19.6 Sharifi to M Forde
0 A fine yorker targeting Forde's pads. Forde misses the flick and gets nutmegged and Gurbaz collects it to his left. Afghanistan have won this game by a margin of 23 runs and will feel really confident ahead of the tournament begins. West Indies' will be bothered watching their batters' failure against spin and the new ball.
50 up for Forde. He brings it up in just 25 balls. However, his knock will go in vain.
19.5 Sharifi to M Forde
4 Fifty for Matthew Forde. This has been a belligerent innings from him. A fullish delivery outside off stump. Forde gets the room and he thumps it over wide mid-off and it races away to the rope and the long-off fielder had no chance.
19.4 Sharifi to M Forde
4 FOURRRR! Forde is just two short of his fifty now. Sharifi misses the line and length. He bowls a low full toss angling at the pads. Forde flicks it towards deep backward square leg. The deep square leg fielder runs and tumbles to his right but it drops short of him and goes for a boundary.
