That brings us to the end of this contest between the Rajasthan Lions and the Delhi Warriors! It made both parties happy eventually! Lions got the win over the Warriors, and the Warriors retained their top spot.

We have game to go in the day. It is Maharashtra Tycoons taking on the Dubai Royals at 7:30 PM IST today. Remember, it is a straight shoot out to the semifinals! The winner makes it and the loser is knocked out.

On this note I, Manan Mehta would like to take your leave on behalf of colleague Dushyant Madhukar Kumar. B-byeeee!!!
Eoin Morgan (Rajasthan Lions Captain and POTM): "The surface was a little bit more challenging than the rest of the week. The curator and groundstaff still did a good job. It was hard work. However, we would have batted first anyways.

It is always good to find the middle of the bat. I am delighted to contribute the way I did. It was pretty hot out there so that makes it lovely. We have a game tomorrow, and we will get some of our main guys back for the big game.

It does feel good to beat the best side. A lot of credit goes to the ownership. The recruitments off the field are paying off on the field. It has worked superbly well so far.

Yeah, it is so good out here. Went to the coast yesterday and had some Goa cuisine. Little bit spice for my liking but enjoyed it nonetheless."

Time for the Post Match Presentations...
Gurkeerat Singh Mann (Delhi Warriors Captain): "We thought 160-170 was a good target. However, we gave 15-20 extra. They bowled pretty well in the powerplay as well. A collapse early does not help. However, Negi and Prasanna got us pretty close.

It looked like a decent wicket initially so credit to Bhati for performing so well with the ball. Yes, we did not get the right result but it is nice to see that the team is getting in form at the right time.

Pawan Negi was also superb with the bat and that is good to see. For the Semifinals, a lot of our main players will be back and we will be a stronger squad."
6 PM IST and Local Time: Rajasthan Lions win by 23 runs! This has been a superb result for the Lions! Yes, they could not bag the top spot but they certainly did well to become the first team to defeat the Delhi Warriors! Captain Morgan was the superstar and he has given his team a good boost going into the semifinals!

The Delhi Warriors won the toss and elected to bowl first. They started well with the ball and got the Lions to 33/2 in the first 6. However, Captain Eoin Morgan stood up for his side and notched up a superb 87 off 53 balls.

He had some good partnerships with Callum Ferguson, Jesal Karia and Ben Cutting. The finishing touches with the bat were provided by Abhimanyu Mithun who smashed 32 runs off the final over. That gave them a boost to 185 in the 20 overs which was 20 above par on a slowish wicket. The pick of the bowlers for the Warriors was Suboth Bhati (5-24).

The chase for the Warriors started on the worst noted possible. The Warriors lost 2 wickets in the first over and were struggling at 10/2.  The Lions' spinners got into the act and the Warriors further collapsed to 60/6 in just 7 overs. Too many soft dismissals and unwanted shot making is what brought them there.

It looked like they would suffer a heavy loss at that point. However, Pawan Negi and Seekkuge Prasanna had different plans. They fought back valiantly. Pawan Negi redeemed himself with a superb 66 off 38 balls. Smoked the ball left right and center. Prasanna accompanied him with a solid 36. They stitched a 75 runs stand and pushed the score to 135 before Prasanna was out.

There was an incentive of getting to 159 as that would guarantee the Warriors a top spot even if they lost the match. This partnership helped them get there and they finished with 162 all out eventually. The pick of the bowlers for the Lions were Parwinder Awana (3-24) and Anureet Singh (2-15).

W WICKETTT!!! Well with Nadeem retired out before this ball, Pathania's dismissal of this ball means that Warriors are all out! Full toss on the stumps, Pathania punches it uppishly straight down the ground into the bucket like hands of Ben Cutting! With that, the Rajasthan Lions win by 23 runs!
