That's it from our coverage of match number 4 in the World Legends Pro T20 League! Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and scorer Yogesh Kumar. Stay tuned for more action from around the world.
Shikhar Dhawan (Dubai Royals Captain): "[on the performance] Very happy and surprised as well. They took the game away from us. They wanted to get the century and that's when we took the game away from them.
[on Chawla] Last over, the way he turned the ball was amazing. He knew that Pujara was going to step out and look for a boundary to get his century. It was good to see Chawla turning the ball putting the new batter under tremendous pressure.
[on captaining] It takes a bit of time because we didn't play regularly so to get the rhythm from the boys. We are not 25 anymore so we need to respect the fatigue. We have a match again tomorrow. We have played high intensity cricket all our lives. That's a part and parcel of the game but everyone wants to give their best."
Samit Patel (Legend of the Match): "Straight off the plane this morning but all good. Pretty good wicket. We got some runs on the board and put some pressure on them.
[on the conditions] The boundaries are pretty small so keep the ball away from the batters. Puji played really well along with Thisara but we got them in the end.
[on playing with legends] The big thing was playing against Stuart Broad, we have been teammates for 20 years. He is still quick."
Legend of the Match: Samit Patel
Thisara Perera (Gurugram Thunders Captain): "As a professional cricketer I gave him a chance to get his hundred. But it went the wrong way for us. It was an easy target on this wicket. We had a great partnership. I have to take my responsibility. We should have won this match the way we started and played through the middle."
