The Pakistan contingent lifts the trophy and begins the celebrations! 3-0! Outstanding performance from the hosts!
Salman Ali Agha (Pakistan Captain): "It's a complete performance. We have been outstanding in the last two games in all three departments; we have dominated them. Very well done by everyone.
I am in a great frame of mind. I know how to be a batter when I am batting, I am doing well, and I want to continue to do that in the World Cup.
Shaheen has been outstanding. We haven't been playing him regularly due to the World Cup, but he's done well whenever he has played. Naseem has bowled well today.
When you have 5 spinners and only 20 bowlers, you don't know who to bowl. They are all outstanding bowlers; whenever I ask someone to bowl, they deliver. I am not a bowler now with the attack we have, and I am focused more on my batting.
We have been fielding well since the Asia Cup. We didn't do well in Sri Lanka, and we sat down before the series to talk about it and make a mark in this series."
Mitchell Marsh (Australia Captain): "First and foremost, Pakistan outplayed us through the series. Great learnings for us to take forward, but we need to address them quickly.
Chasing was hard on that surface, and we need partnerships. We didn't do that. We'll address this series, park it, and look forward to the World Cup. It's been an exciting time for us. We look forward to go to Sri Lanka, and we thank Pakistan for such an atmosphere and hospitality.
The crowd has been fantastic, it is a country with a great cricket history, and we have enjoyed our time here."
Player of the Series: Salman Ali Agha
Mohammad Nawaz (Player of the Match): "When the conditions are such strong for spinners, you want an opportunity to perform and create an impact for your team.
The focus was on doing the basics right, because the pitch is ready to assist you. The aim was to bowl away from the arc of the batters, and target good areas.
I try to bowl in the right areas, and not give the batters to utilize their strength."
