Bangladesh Under-19s look composed. Balanced. Ready. From bowling discipline to batting clarity, this was a complete ODI performance. USA showed fight and flashes of promise, but consistency remains the lesson. One side chased with calm. The other learned with courage. Cricket moves on. The Super Six awaits.

Until then, I am Dev Rajawat, signing off, along with my co-commentator, Arjun Bhalla, and score Danish Elahi. That’s it from our side. Thanks for joining. But cricket doesn’t sleep. Plenty is happening around the world. Switch tabs, follow the fun. Goodbye from this tab! TAKE CARE! BREATHE AND SMILE! CIAO!
Azizul Hakim (Bangladesh U19): "Thanks to the Almighty! We were brilliant in all three departments, I would say. We just played well today and we won this game. So it was simple. With the ball, Emmon and Fahad were good. And with the bat, I got support from Kalam Aleen."
Utkarsh Srivastava (USA U19 Captain): "Yeah, I think we played quite a few dot balls in the middle overs. We were 30 runs short; if we had those runs, we would have given a good fight. Our bowlers gave a good fight; they felt nervous in the middle, but they were brilliant out there.

(On conditions on offer) The conditions here were flatter and much nicer than they are in Bulawayo. It wasn't spinning either. I should have taken the responsibility and taken the game deeper. But we nevertheless put up a good fight.

(When Bangladesh U19 were taking the game away) We have a solid team, and that's our strength. You know, we're in the game till the 30th over. We were 30 runs short; else things would have been different.

We haven't been our true selves so far, and would look to play our best game against Scotland U19."
Iqbal Hossain Emmon (POTM): "Thanks to the Almighty, we are through to the Super Six. I have been gaining a lot of confidence by playing in this tournament. I bowled really well in this match, and this match will boost our confidence ahead of the Super Six.

(On the conditions on offer, Harare in comparison to Bulawayo) The pitches in Bulawayo favoured me, but these conditions were tough for me. Hopefully, if I get the pitches in my favour, I will surely win games for Bangladesh U19.

The bowlers have been setting games for us, while the batters are playing well by taking the deep."

8:06 PM IST, 4:36 PM LOCAL TIME: Time teaches patience… and cricket rewards it. What decided this contest in the end? Control. From first ball to last. Bangladesh Under-19s absorbed pressure, paced the chase, and sealed a 7-wicket win with 51 balls to spare, chasing 200 with calm authority. USA Under-19s fought hard to post 199, but the gap between effort and execution showed in the second innings. One side built. The other finished. And with that, Bangladesh booked their Super Six ticket from Group B.

The first Powerplay? With intent and assurance. Bangladesh raced to 53/0 after 10 overs, no wickets lost, no alarms sounded. Zawad Abrar was fluent from ball one, timing the ball sweetly through cover and midwicket. Rifat Beg played the foil, rotating strike, and letting the run rate breathe. USA’s bowlers asked questions, but the answers came in boundaries and calm singles.

The second Powerplay? The chase slowed… but never stalled. Zawad Abrar’s fifty came off just 40 balls, setting the tone before he fell at 78/1. Azizul Hakim, the captain, then took charge. Measured. Mature. He built a crucial 88-run stand with Kalam Siddiki, ensuring Bangladesh never drifted. Drinks at 88/2 and later 164/2 told the same story - always ahead.

Did the USA find any window back into the game? Briefly. Azizul Hakim’s 64 off 82 ended at 176/3 (38.2 overs), a small opening created by Ritvik Appidi. But by then, the equation had melted away. The required rate dipped below four. Pressure shifted back instantly. The USA had heart. Bangladesh had time.

The final Powerplay? With a flourish. Rizan Hossain walked in with clarity and finished it in style - a six to end the match. The winning runs came at 41.3 overs, long before the finish line. 201/3. No fuss. No drama. Just assurance. A chase completed the way coaches love it- early.

Earlier, what about the USA’s first innings? Where did it slip? Early wickets hurt. 33/2 after 10 overs put pressure on the middle order. Adnit Jhamb’s 68 off 69 was the standout, dragging USA to respectability. Support came in patches - Utkarsh Srivastava (39) steadied briefly, but partnerships never truly blossomed. Bangladesh’s bowlers rotated pressure smartly, with Iqbal Hossain Emon (3/41) and Rizan Hossain (2/27) doing the damage.

6 SIXXXX!!!! Rizan Hossain ends the game in style. A six that takes Bangladesh home, and into the Super Six! Kappa drops it very short and outside off-stump. Was an arm ball. Rizan's eyes pop out of the sockets seeing it. He rocks deep into the crease and pulls it well over deep mid-wicket for a maximum. Bangladesh U19 have chased down the target, and won this game by seven wickets with 51 balls to spare! That's the end of the road for USA U19 in this World Cup!
