Milestone
Time to conclude this coverage, folks! Rajshahi Warriors seal their place in the grand finale with this victory and will now face Chattogram Royals in the title clash. We hope you enjoyed our coverage. For now, it’s me, Deepak Prakash, signing off on behalf of co-commentator Saptak Sanyal and scorer/analyst Dushyant Madhukar Kumar. Cheers!
Najmul Hossain Shanto (Rajshahi Warriors Captain): "Yeah, very happy, and it’s a big moment for the Rajshahi owners as it’s a new team. We lost our way a bit in the middle phase, but the way we batted in the powerplay was really good. [On Farhan taking 5 catches] Yeah, Farhan was brilliant in the field, everyone is contributing well, and the energy in the team is high."
Binura Fernando (Player of the Match): "Well for me it was just a matter of when. I picked up a niggle a couple of matches earlier but the physio Sunny and massage therapist Shaheen made my body ready for the play-offs.

Throughout my career I have bowled in the powerplay and death. When there's some movement, I am in the game. If it grips a bit, I go to bowl my cutters.

If I be honest with you, it takes a lot of chaos to be this calm. I think I have come a long way in my career. Playing more than 130 T20s, I consider myself as a seasoned campaigner."

Time for the post-match presentations.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Sylhet Titans Captain): "Definitely I think if we had a partnership when wee needed 60 from 7 overs or so. We lost two wickets early in the powerplay and it made things difficult for our team.

That was a great moment for us yesterday. Everybody got boosted up after winning the match that way. Emon's run-out was a crucial moment for Rajshahi I believe.

It was an excellent BPL. Everyone came and foreigners came to play and trusted to play. It was a great BPL to me."
9:26 PM IST, 9:56 PM Local Time: Excellent bowling from the Rajshahi Warriors, as they maintain tight lines and lengths in the crunch moments and drub the Sylhet Titans by 12 runs to seal their place in the grand finale of the BPL 2025–26. They will face Chattogram Royals in the summit clash on Friday.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Rajshahi Warriors posted a competitive 165/9 in their 20 overs despite losing wickets at regular intervals. The innings got off to a brisk start, with Sahibzada Farhan (26) and Tanzid Hasan Tamim (32) providing early momentum. Kane Williamson anchored the innings with a composed 45* off 38 balls, holding things together through the middle overs even as Rajshahi slipped from 62/2 to 80/5 in quick succession.

Just when the Warriors looked set for a below-par finish, James Neesham produced a vital late flourish. His aggressive 44 off 26 balls lifted the scoring rate and pushed the total beyond the 160-run mark. The tail could not add much thereafter, as Rajshahi lost four wickets in the final two overs.

For Sylhet Titans, Salman Irshad was the standout with figures of 3/23, while Nasum Ahmed and Mehidy Hasan Miraz picked up two wickets each and kept things tight through the middle phase.

In reply, Sylhet Titans were rocked early as they lost both openers, Zakir Hasan and Ariful Islam, for ducks inside the first three overs, with Binura Fernando taking both wickets. Parvez Hossain Emon then took charge of the recovery, showing composure and intent. He found solid support from Sam Billings, and together they stitched a crucial 68-run partnership that brought the Titans back into the contest.

However, the turning point came when Emon was run out for a well-made 48, followed soon after by Billings’ dismissal for 37. Those wickets triggered another collapse as Rajshahi Warriors tightened the screws through disciplined bowling and excellent catching in the deep. Afif Hossain (21) and Chris Woakes (15*) tried to keep the chase alive, but the required rate kept climbing. Rajshahi’s bowlers held their nerve in the death overs, restricting the Titans to 153/8 and sealing a 12-run victory.

Binura Fernando was outstanding with the ball for the Warriors, claiming four wickets for just 19 runs in 4 overs, while Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Md Rubel, and Abdul Gaffar Saqlain chipped in with one wicket each.

Stay tuned for the presentation......
