Two centuries were scored in this match, yet only one came in a winning cause. Thatās the beauty and cruelty of cricketāindividual brilliance doesnāt always guarantee success. Sometimes your achievements are celebrated with victory, and at other times, they come despite ending up on the losing side. We hope you enjoyed our live coverage. For now, it's me, Deepak Prakash, signing off on behalf of co-commentator Dev Rajawat and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. CHEERS!
Litton Das (Rangpur Riders Captain): "Any win is a good win, but I feel we still need to improve our bowling, as we conceded too many runs in the final six overs. Hridoy batted exceptionally well on a tricky wicket, and if he continues in the same manner over the next two games, it will be a big positive for us."
Towhid Hridoy (POTM): "I was mainly focused on executing my plans well during the powerplay. As a player, you need to be flexible and adapt to different batting positions, but Iām really enjoying the role of opening the innings."
Player of the Match: Towhid Hridoy
Hassan Eisakhil: "The wicket was quite challenging to bat on initially, and while 173 was a competitive total, we didnāt bowl in the right areas. It was a sticky, double-paced surface, and our original plan was to score around 120ā130. As the game progressed, especially after 13ā14 overs, the pitch started to change its behaviour, which made batting a bit easier. From there, I focused on identifying which bowlers I could target for runs. The plan was simpleābuild a strong base and hit in the right areas. I honestly didnāt even realise I had hit 11 sixes; it was all about timing, balance, and executing my shots properly."
4:15 PM IST, 4:45 PM Local Time: Towhid Hridoyās scintillating innings overshadowed Hassan Eisakhilās hundred, as Rangpur Riders chased down the 173-run target in emphatic fashion, winning by eight wickets.
Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Noakhali Express posted a competitive 173/2 in their 20 overs, riding on a superb unbeaten century from Hassan Eisakhil. The right-hander anchored the innings with a classy 107 off 72 balls, striking 11 sixes and keeping the scoreboard ticking despite a cautious powerplay. Early wickets of Rahmat Ali and Jaker Ali slowed the momentum, but Eisakhil found an ideal partner in skipper Haider Ali, who chipped in with an unbeaten 42 off 32 balls. The pair added a decisive 137-run stand for the third wicket, accelerating strongly in the latter half of the innings to lift Noakhali to a healthy total. For the bowlers, Aliss Al Islam (1/22) and Nahid Rana (1/41) were the only wicket-takers, while the rest struggled to contain the scoring as Eisakhil took control in the death overs.
In reply, Towhid Hridoy set the tone early, providing a solid and aggressive start as he scored fluently from the outset. The right-hander was quick to punish loose deliveries and ensured the required rate never became an issue.
At the other end, Dawid Malan had a scratchy outing, finding it difficult to rotate the strike and score freely. Despite Malanās (15) struggles, the opening pair still managed to add 78 runs, giving Rangpur a strong platform.
After Malanās dismissal, Hridoy continued to dominate the bowling and found excellent support from captain Litton Das. The duo stitched together a match-winning 87-run partnership, calmly steering the chase while keeping the scoreboard ticking. Hridoy brought up a magnificent century, reaching the milestone in just 57 balls, finishing with a superb 109 off 63 deliveries. Litton complemented him well with an unbeaten 39 off 35 balls, playing the role of anchor to perfection. Although Hridoy fell late in the innings, the result was never in doubt, as Rangpur Riders comfortably crossed the line.

WD WIDE! That's it! Rangpur Riders win by 8 wickets. Short of a length delivery banged into the pitch. Litton ducks underneath it, and the umpire signals it wide.
