Milestone
Rajshahi Warriors have managed to win this nail-biting thriller by five runs. They now qualify for the playoffs of BPL 2025-26 and are at the top of the points table.

That's it from our live coverage of this game. This is Mohammad Anab signing off on behalf of my colleagues Arjun Bhalla and Zeeshan Naiyer. Cheers.
Najmul Hossain Shanto (Rajshahi Warriors Captain): "Credit goes to the players for the win, I didn't do anything. The bowlers did a fantastic job.

(On the first innings score) We felt that we were 10-15 runs short but we knew that we had a bowling attack that could win the match for us.

(On the bowling combination of his side) We have a good bowling combination. But we need to keep a couple of extra bowling combinations, as you never know when a bowler has an off day or gets injured. However, most of the time, we don't need that extra bowling option."
Ripon Mondol (POTM): "I am very happy with my performance. I am bowling well from the last couple of games. I would like to thank my captain for backing me. He came in and motivated me after Moeen (Ali) Bhai hit me those two sixes."
Player of the Match: Ripon Mondol
Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Sylhet Titans Captain): "Definitely yes, they played really well. We kept on losing wickets in the middle overs, and we couldn't stitch a partnership from there. The dew didn't come, which went against us. Batting also became tougher in the last 10 overs. No excuses, lessons learned."
10:09 PM IST, 10:39 PM Local Time: Fernando does the job on the final delivery as he dismisses Ruyel Miah. With this, Rajshahi Warriors register a victory by five runs. The table-toppers now win their seventh game and have qualified for the playoffs of BPL 2025-26.

Put in to bat, the Rajshahi Warriors produced a competitive batting effort despite losing wickets at regular intervals. Their innings never fully gathered momentum, but contributions across the lineup ensured they remained on course for a defendable total.

The side failed to score boundaries in the slog overs and managed to score 147/8 in 20 overs. They would have surely aimed for a score of over 170 at the halfway mark.

Mushfiqur Rahim (40) and skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto (34) were the top scorers. Shohidul Islam and Nasum Ahmed picked up two scalps each.

In reply, the Sylhet Titans lost early wickets and were on the back foot. However, after Parvez Emon and Mominul Haque added 49 runs for the third wicket. However, both of them later got dismissed for 41 and 31, respectively.

Later, Moeen Ali walked in to bat and smashed crucial boundaries in the end but he got out in the penultimate over.

With 11 runs needed in the final over and just two wickets in hand, Binura Fernando ensured that Titans didn't score the required runs.

Most of the Warriors' bowlers bowled well but the star of the match was Ripon Mondol. He bowled a magical spell of 4/34, which included a superb penultimate over as well.
