Milestone
That was a very quick game overall, lasting just 23 overs, with Sylhet Titans winning the one-sided contest with 68 balls to spare. Noakhali Express’ search for their first win of the season continues as they slump to four consecutive defeats. Time to wrap up this coverage, folks! For now, it's me, Deepak Prakash, signing off on behalf of co-commentator Ajay Pal Singh and scorer/analyst Asraj Khan. CHEERS!
Biggest Win in BPL (By Ball Remainings):

81 – Fortune Barishal vs Dhaka Capitals, Mirpur, 2025

73 – Dhaka Dominators vs Sylhet Strikers, Mirpur, 2017

72 – Rangpur Riders vs Khulna Tigers, Mirpur, 2016

68
– Sylhet Titans vs Noakhali Express, Sylhet, 2026 (This Match)

64 – Comilla Victorians vs Chattogram Challengers, Sylhet, 2024
Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Sylhet Titans Captain): "Yeah, definitely. Last two games, we had a great game but we didn't win. The team was excited and ready that we have to win. It was very important for us, this game.

Yeah, it is easy for the captain if you play experienced players in this tournament. They have lots of experience because they have played lots of international and franchise cricket. It is a great moment for Sylhet Titans, I hope in the next two games also, we do well."
Nasum Ahmed (POTM): "Before this, I had taken four wickets in T20s, so this is my first five-for in the format. I’ve been working on a new inswing delivery and trying to execute it in matches, so I’m feeling really good about it. This performance will definitely help me ahead of the World Cup. There are still four games left before the tournament starts, and I’ll try to keep the momentum going."

Time for the post-match presentation...
Haider Ali (Noakhali Express Captain): "Yeah, our batting once again let us down. We tried new combinations but nothing has worked.

I think, we are giving away wickets back-to-back which is hurting us. We tried working on it but hopefully, we can do well in the next game.

Look, every time when a team is down on the mat, they tend to win a few on the trot to change the momentum and that's what we will try to do in the upcoming games."
2:54 PM IST, 3:24 PM Local Time: Sylhet Titans romped to a 6-wicket win with 68 balls remaining to get back to winning ways, while Noakhali Express remain winless this season, slipping to their fourth straight defeat.

Earlier, Noakhali Express endured a night to forget as they were skittled for a paltry 61 in 14.2 overs after choosing to bat first, with Nasum Ahmed producing a sensational spell for Sylhet Titans. The left-arm spinner ran through the batting order, claiming a stunning five-wicket haul while conceding just seven runs, as only two Express batters managed to reach double figures.

Soumya Sarkar and Habibur Rahman gave Noakhali a positive start with a 24-run opening stand β€” their best of the season β€” but once Sarkar fell to Nasum, things unravelled quickly. Munim Shahriar was run out in a mix-up, Mohammad Nabi crawled to one off ten balls, and wickets kept tumbling around Mahidul, who top-scored with a fighting 25. Nasum wrapped things up with three wickets in his final over, while Mohammad Amir, Azmatullah Omarzai, Khaled Ahmed and Mehidy Hasan Miraz each chipped in with a wicket to complete a ruthless bowling display by the Titans.

In reply, Sylhet Titans lost Parvez Hossain Emon for just one run, with Bilal Sami knocking over the left-hander, but Tawfique Khan and Zakir Hasan added 54 runs for the second wicket and left Noakhali with no chance of clawing their way back into the game. Tawfique scored rapidly among the duo but failed to bat till the end, departing for an 18-ball 32 cameo. Zahir Khan removed Afif Hossain (2) and Zakir Hasan (24) in the space of three balls to delay victory briefly, but eventually the Titans crossed the line with 68 balls to spare.

Noakhali Express needed something miraculous to defend such a meagre total, but they failed to do so. Zahir Khan bagged three wickets for Noakhali Express, while Bilal Sami chipped in with one.

Stay tuned for the presentation.....
