The Giants move to the second position with a win tonight. The Warriorz, meanwhile, are placed at the bottom of the points table. They now have a seven-day break before they take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru. They will be looking to bounce back in the final two games.

Tomorrow, there is a day off. The WPL action resumes Saturday when Royal Challengers Bengaluru take on Delhi Capitals. Do join us for that. Also, keep joining us for more cricketing action all around the globe.

For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Ajay Pal Singh, scorer Manish Bishnoi and statistician Aman. Bye bye.
Rajeshwari Gayakwad (Player of the Match): "After a long time, I was playing. I'm feeling happy because I performed well and I'm happy to contribute.

Nothing different. I bowled to my strengths. When your support staff backs you, it gives you the confidence.

The rhythm was better today. The wicket was also helping me.

I bowl according to the plans. Kashvee picked up the wicket of Lanning. I would have loved to pick her wicket. When the left-handed batters come, I don't get enough opportunities to bowl. But I love bowling against them.

I have worked on my strengths and always back them while bowling."
Player of the Match: Rajeshwari Gayakwad
Ash Gardner (Gujarat Giants Women Captain): "[Thoughts on the result] Yeah, I think we scrapped really well with the bat. Sophie kind of showed that we kind of took the momentum from our batting innings into the bowling and put the pressure on their batters. On a wicket like this, we kept the pressure on them and all I can ask is to stall their momentum.

[On change from Navi Mumbai to Vadodara] It is very different. Red to black soil, I never thought there would be such stark difference. The ball is not bouncing anywhere near, no pace in the wicket. You have to think straight for as long as possible and not play across the line like I did. I think the way to go is keep the stumps in play as often as possible.

[Words at the halfway stage] We just spoke about before the game to fight, going into these last 3 games. All the teams are at same points. It is almost like restarting our campaign, we knew if we play well, we can go all the way. As a captian, it is just about implementing the right things and giving your all to win the game of cricket.

[On Rajeshwari Gayakwad] So happy for her, she probably didn't bowl as much as she wanted. She got the opportunity and took it with both hands. She turned the game in our favour. As a foreign player to lean on someone as experienced as her is awesome."
11:12 PM IST, Local Time: Anjum Chopra is ready with the post-match presentation...
Sophie Devine (Gujarat Giants): "Yeah, it was an interesting game of cricket. Forget about that 150-run mark, we were always going to be competitive. Once we got through the key wickets, it was about holding our nerves and finishing the game.

Couple of days ago, I got to know that I was batting in the middle order. We have the flexibility. Danni batted really well at the top, batting with intent with Mooney. I came down the order. Just adjusted and tried to play the role which was given to me.

(On Rajeshwari Gayakwad) She came in and played superbly today. She varied the pace and the flight very well. She was fantastic. That shows the confident we have got in the full squad. Anyone can come in and perform.

(On fielding today) In the first couple of days, we were very good in the field. The talk in the team meeting was about being attentive. Fielding is a team effort and we showed it today.

(On Beth Mooney's stumping) I just said collecting with hands is just overrated. Just use your legs. But, she was outstanding today. What she can do behind the stumps makes a huge difference."
Sophie Devine passes the Orange Cap to Phoebe Litchfield. She receives the Purple cap from her.
Meg Lanning (UP Warriorz Women Captain): "Yeah, it went for a long time. Both innings took a while to finish. We had our chances. We were in a good position with the ball but we dropped chances. Credit to Gujarat. They kept sticking to their plans.

(On seeing Devine bat in the middle order) We planned for all their batters in case there was any change. Sophie going to the middle changed the plan for them. She stayed there till the end.

(On Kranti Gaud) With the new ball, she got some movement. It gave our bowlers the confidence. She has been excellent for us in the last few days.

Plenty of time to think about things. Disappointed to get the loss. We have a chance. We will take a few days rest before getting back to training. We know we have to win two games. It's pretty straightforward for us. Two days off and we will see how it goes forward."
