Milestone
That's it from our coverage of the 4th game in the ACC Under-19s Asia Cup. A triumphant Sri Lanka takes 2 important points to top the Group B table. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of scorer Sahil Khan. Stay tuned for more action from around the world.
Vimath Dinsara (Sri Lanka U19 Captain): "The toss was vital. The fast bowlers recovered well after a bad start. The batters didn't expect that much of turn but we are happy with the win."
Ashok Dhami (Nepal U19 Captain): "The batters lost their patience so we failed to score big. Pitch was little bit tough to bat and their bowlers also did well. The run out was good for us but we did not capture the momentum. We want to spend some more time on the pitch, we will come back stronger."
Sethmika Seneviratne (Player of the Match): "The wicket had a bit of moisture when we started which suits my bowling. At the start I was bowling a bit shorter, it's our first game and we came 2 days back. 2-3 overs with the game I coped well with the length. I was trying to hit that length all the time. These are some of the best wickets I've taken. The coaches and the staff told to bowl more fuller and it gave the results."
Player of the Match: Sethmika Seneviratne (5/25)
2:22 PM IST, 12:52 PM Local Time: A massive win for the Sri Lanka U19s side to kick start their Under-19s Asia Cup campaign as they defeat Nepal by 8 wickets and 211 balls to spare.

Winning the toss Sri Lanka elected to field first. Opening bowler Sethmika Seneviratne starred with 5/25 to help skittle Nepal for a paltry 82 in just 28.5 overs. Cibrin Shrestha top scoring for Nepal with 18.

In response, Nepal picked up 2 early wickets in Viran Chamuditha (10 off 9) and Kithma Withanapathirana (2) pushing the score down to 25/2 but an unbeaten knock of 39 from opener Dimantha Mahavithana and then a brisk unbeaten 24 off 29 from Kavija Gamage helped the Lankan youngsters romped to the victory in the 15th over.

Dayanand Mandal picked up 1/16 with Kithma perishing to a run out. No other bowler could breakthrough for Nepal but Bipin Prasad Sharma bowled a tidy 4 over spell conceding only 8 runs and even sneaking through a maiden over.

Nepal Under 19s will now face Bangladesh on Monday whereas Sri Lanka will be taking on Afghanistan on the very same day. Stay tuned as we return with the post match presentation.

4 FOUR RUNS! That's a phenomenal victory for Sri Lanka! Full and outside the off stump. Goes for another reverse sweep, falls down as he goes off balance but makes solid connection to pick the gap between backward point and short third man. Four runs all along the turf!
