And with that, we wrap this one. Until then, I am Dev Rajawat, signing off, along with my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal and scorer Yogesh Kumar. Thatās it from our side. Thanks for joining. But two more matches are lined up here in Abu Dhabi T10 today. Switch tabs, follow the fun. Goodbye from this tab! TAKE CARE! BREATHE AND SMILE! CIAO!
Kieron Pollard (UAE Bulls' Skipper): "Yeah, this was an important one for us, no doubt. But in terms of preparation, nothing changed, as weāve kept things consistent throughout the tournament. In games like this, the players already understand the stakes, so thereās no need for big speeches. Personally, I still feel we couldāve played a little better, but at the end of the day, we got the two points we needed, and that keeps us alive, even if qualification isnāt completely in our hands.
I thought the bowling unit did a really solid job today. As for whatās next, honestly, before we even plan ahead, we need to watch the last game tonight. No point preparing for something that may not come. Itās been a bit of a disappointing campaign because of the inconsistency in our performances, but thatās the nature of T10. One player, one over, one moment, and the game goes away from you.
Weāre a good team, but I think other sides have played their best cricket against us, and sometimes you just end up on the wrong side of fine margins - inside edges, outside edges, little moments. But we controlled what we could today, and now we wait.
As for the schedule, the back-to-back games are fine. Weāre used to it. Modern cricket demands quick turnarounds, so itās just like a training day - you show up, do the job, recover, and get ready again. The main focus is always the same - step up when the team needs it."
Tim David (Player of the Match):"Well obviously I am happy. We had to win this game. We were passionate today. We wanted to get over the line with all our batting strength.
Somedays it is difficult to bat and sometimes it is difficult for the bowlers. Today was a nice day to bat."
Player of the Match: Tim David
Time for the post-match presentations.
6:51 PM IST, 5:21 PM LOCAL TIME: Fireworks. Wickets. Chaos. Calm. And finally, a finish with flair. Thatās the tale of this T10 classic in one line. The UAE Bulls chased it down with nerves rattled but belief unshaken, getting to 127/7 in just 9 overs. While the Titans will walk off wondering if they left 10-15 runs somewhere on that turf, or if a tighter over here and there could have changed fate. But the Bulls? Theyāll say - intent won. Pressure absorbed. And finished executed. Both sides had their highs. Both had hiccups. But in the end, the Bulls crossed the line.
Letās rewind. The chase began with Salt carving a boundary first ball - convincing, confident, loud. But then? Boom. Boom. Wasim Akram struck twice in two deliveries, removing Salt and Powell, and suddenly, the Bulls were wobbling at 4/2. It felt like panic time. But Tim David walked in with a different script in mind - no hesitation, no defensive mindset, just raw ball-striking. He smashed boundaries like he was rewinding highlight reels, quickly flipping momentum.
But Titans werenāt done. Akif Javed removed substitute Tom Moores next over, tightening the screws again. Yet from the other end, David went into video-game mode - five boundaries in his first six deliveries, including three sixes and two fours. Chawla finally removed him, but only after he blasted 40 off just 12. A cameo that shifted the chase from doubtful to doable. Titans stared at him, walking back, thinking that the wicket came 20 runs too late.
Then came Sunil Narine, and the crowd held their breath. He launched two massive sixes off Chawla straightaway, flipping the pressure and forcing fielders to the rope. He played like someone offered a powerplay cheat code - 26 off just 13, fast, fearless. Green dismissed him, bringing a brief slowdown, but the damage was already gleaming on the scoreboard.
The gears changed again when Shepherd joined Pollard. Quiet overs arrived. Pace slowed. The chase looked tricky. Titans sensed one opening, one mistake, one loose stroke. But Shepherd smacked Zaman in the 18th over, dragging momentum back and keeping the Bulls breathing freely. The belief returned. The dugout relaxed.
And then came the final punches. Pollard. Experience. Calm chaos. He smoked consecutive sixes against Green, flipping the chase from tense to tilted. Green dismissed Iftikhar, but Pollard stayed. He stayed till the end. One final swing. One final boundary. And the Bulls crossed the line.
Earlier, Titans had posted 126/5, powered by Donaldās 24, Rossouwās brisk 26, and Moeen Aliās unbeaten 29 off 11 - a captainās cameo. Hales chipped in, and Clarke added 15. Runs came quickly early on. 34 from the first two overs, but the middle overs didnāt quite explode like expected. The Bulls' bowlers leaked boundaries but took timely wickets, especially Qais Ahmad with two crucial scalps. The Titans missed the late acceleration they hoped for, and that proved to be the fine margin today.

6 SIXXX! UAE Bulls have got the much needed victory to stay alive in the play-off's race. A short of length ball at the off stump. Pollard rocks back and waits for the ball to come to him and he pulls this one over deep midwicket for a huge maximum. Ajman Titans have guaranteed a place in the top two of the points table despite losing this match.
