Milestone
That’s all from the first game of today’s triple-header in the Abu Dhabi T10 League. Switch tabs and join the second game, which is about to start in a few minutes. For now, it’s me, Deepak Prakash, signing off from this space along with scorer Yogesh Kumar. CHEERS!
Liam Livingstone (Quetta Qavalry Captain): "Yeah, it’s been good fun. We’ve played some good cricket. I think that was a very good win. We bowled really well towards the end, so to drag it back against a team like that was a great effort.

They’ve been amazing. We’ve played some really good cricket, both with bat and ball, throughout the tournament. It’s only three games, and we know we’ve got to keep it up for the rest of the tournament, but it’s been great so far.

Well, Amir is here now, so I think this will be the last time I captain. I can leave it all to him now. But yeah, we’ve just got to keep playing good cricket. We’ve started the tournament really well, but what really matters is the backend. Hopefully, we can keep it going."
Khuzaima Tanveer: "The plan was simple — I wanted to bowl a dot ball, and the execution was perfect. The captain told me to just enjoy the game and do well. We’ll try our best to keep going like this."
Player of the Match: Khuzaima Tanveer
Time for the post-match presentation....
6:50 PM IST, 5:20 PM Local Time: Excellent bowling from Quetta Qavalry in the second half of the innings, and they clinch this contest by the barest of margins — one run — extending their winning streak to three matches.

Earlier, Quetta Qavalry posted 112/3 in 10 overs, thanks to a late surge from Khawaja Nafay, who smashed a rapid and unbeaten 39 off just 14 balls. Earlier, Evin Lewis gave them a quick start with a 9-ball 20, while Muhammad Waseem struggled for rhythm, scoring 15 off 17. Andries Gous fell cheaply for 8, slowing the momentum, but Liam Livingstone’s unbeaten 20 and Nafay’s explosive finish powered Qavalry past the 110 mark.

For the Gladiators, Muhammad Jawadullah picked up two wickets, and Noor Ahmad added one to his tally.

The chase began shakily with Nicholas Pooran falling for 4 in the first over. Tom Kohler-Cadmore chipped in with a brisk 15, while David Wiese kept the chase alive with a fiery 32 off 15.

A couple of tight overs from Quetta Qavalry in the second half spiked the required run rate, putting Gladiators under pressure. Andre Russell’s early exit for 2 hurt their momentum. Marcus Stoinis fought hard with an unbeaten 39 off 19, and Laurie Evans supported with 16* off 9, but the surge came too late.

For Qavalry, Ali Majid, Abbas Afridi, Jason Holder, and Khuzaima Tanveer claimed one wicket each, with Tanveer standing out for his control, conceding just 5 runs in two overs.

Stay tuned for the presentation......

6 Back-to-back sixes from 'The 'Hulk' but Gladiators fall one short of Quetta's total. Back of a length delivery on the stumps. Muscles it over deep mid-wicket for a biggie. Quetta Qavalry win by just one run and extend their winning streak to three matches.
