The trend rolls on in the Abu Dhabi T10 2025! All four matches played so far have been won by the sides batting first, and we’ve witnessed another nail-biter go right down to the wire. That’s it from this clash. Switch tabs now for the third and final game of the day, which is already underway between the Titans and the Qavalry.

For now, this is Pritam Dey signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal who, along with scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar brought all the actions of this clash. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world. BYE BYE👋
S Sreesanth (Vista Riders Captain): "It doesn't look like a new team. Everyone enjoyed today and gave their absolute best. I have to thank Allan Donald sir. We have taken one ball at a time and it worked out for us.

Ashraf came up to me and said, give me the ball, I will win it for the team. He bowled the crucial overs and won us the game. Even Pretorius bowled really well in the death overs. I think it was a team effort from the boys. Really happy with the performance today."
Dwaine Pretorius (Player of the Match): "I think the team played a good game. Bowlers did well, batters did well. I think it was a really good performance. Everything is challenging here. Just try to find a way and it is good to have a lot of experience in our team."
Player of the Match: Dwaine Pretorius
Time for the post-match presentations.
9:15 PM IST & 7:45 PM Local Time: Royal Champs fell apart in the latter half of their chase and eventually went down by 9 runs. A top-class bowling display from the Vista Riders, who start their campaign on a winning note.

Earlier in the day, Royal Champs won the toss and opted to chase. The Riders couldn’t find a steady start as Murali Vijay fell for a low score inside the powerplay. Rishi Dhawan was outstanding with the new ball, keeping things tight and asking tough questions. Ben McDermott showcased some classy stroke play but his promising knock came to an end on 31 off 16 balls.

The Vista Riders struggled to find rhythm throughout their innings, losing wickets at regular intervals and never really settling into a flow. Only three batters managed to reach double figures in what was a tough outing for their batting unit. Dwaine Pretorius (31 off 12), however, produced a brilliant late cameo that lifted the side past the 100-run mark. In the end, the Riders ended with a competitive total of 109/7 from their allotted 10 overs. Haider Razzaq (3/25) was the pick of the bowlers for the Champs.

In reply, the Royal Champs came out firing and got off to a flying start. Even though Quentin Sampson departed for just 6 in the second over, skipper Jason Roy capitalized brilliantly on the powerplay. He, along with Brandon McMullen, stitched together a rapid 56-run stand off just 24 balls, putting the Riders under serious pressure. But the momentum shifted quickly as both set batters fell in the same over, with impact player Sharafuddin Ashraf striking gold by removing them back-to-back.'

The Champs needed just 45 runs from the final 5 overs with 9 wickets still in the bank, but they completely lost their way and crumbled under pressure. The call to send Angelo Mathews ahead of Dawson, Shahzad and Sams proved costly as the innings lost all momentum. Wickets kept tumbling in clusters and with the required rate climbing, the chase slipped out of their hands.

In the end, the Riders held their nerve superbly to defend the total and seal a 9-run win. Andrew Tye (3/21) and Sharafuddin Ashraf (3/8) were outstanding, finishing with 3 wickets each.
