That’s all from Match 2 of the Canada Super 60 2025! The Montreal Royal Tigers cruise to a comfortable 7-wicket victory. The 3rd and final match of the day is coming up soon.

For now, this is Pritam Dey signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash who, along with scorer/analyst Raju Khariya brought all the actions of this clash. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Shakib Al Hasan (Montreal Royal Tigers Captain): "Yes, very happy. Winning the first game is always important. Obviously we will play back to back matches, so momentum is key.

Such a nice city and such a good atmosphere. We are enjoying every moment of it."
Imran Tahir (Mississauga Masters Captain): "To be honest, we did really well — we showed fight, exactly what we asked for before the game. The batters need to make full use of all 10 overs, and we still need to work on the areas we’re bowling in."
Isuru Udana (Player of the Match): "As a unit we are very happy. As an individual, I am really happy too. As I said, T10 is a funny game and momentum is crucial in such a format.

Tomorrow can be a different day. We need to be well prepared. We need to execute our plans well."
Player of the Match: Isuru Udana
9:36 AM IST, 9:06 PM Local Time: Dilpreet Bajwa finishes things in style, and Montreal Royal Tigers start their Canada Super 60 campaign with a 7-wicket win over Mississauga Masters.

Earlier, Mississauga Masters managed 113/8 in 10 overs after being put in to bat by the Montreal Royal Tigers.

The Masters lost early wickets, with Ravi Bopara (5) and Leus du Plooy (10) falling cheaply, before Saif’s attacking 47 and his 61-run stand with Shoaib Malik (23) steadied the innings. However, once Ansh Patel dismissed Saif, the middle and lower order crumbled. Isuru Udana produced a stunning spell, taking 4 for 16, including three wickets in a single over, to spark a collapse. A late six from Imran Tahir (8*) helped Mississauga cross the 110-run mark. Andrew Tye, Brad Currie, Ryan Higgins, and Ansh Patel chipped in with a wicket each as Montreal’s bowlers finished strongly.

In response, the Montreal Royal Tigers got off to a solid start, with openers Josh Brown (29) and Tom Moores (31) scoring briskly and adding 46 runs for the first wicket. However, Mississauga struck back, removing both openers and Nick Hobson (1) in quick succession to claw their way back into the contest.
Dilpreet Bajwa (26*) and Ryan Higgins (16*) looked in sublime touch, and the duo helped the Tigers cross the line with 8 balls to spare.

The Masters leaked runs at regular intervals and failed to defend the total. Zahid Khan bagged a couple of wickets for Mississauga Masters, while Imran Tahir chipped in with a solitary wicket.

Stay tuned for the presentation......
