So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj, my co-commentators, Ajay Pal Singh and Mohammad Anab. A note of thanks to the scorer, Ashok Dayma as well. Stay tuned to our network and join us for a lot more cricketing action tomorrow.
Shai Hope (West Indies Captain): "(About ending with just 149 after a great start) Yes, there were some concerns. When we talked at the half-way stage, we were discussing about 190, even 220 but we fell away. Credit to the bowlers for pulling the match back. We always say catches win matches but we didn't do ourselves any favours in the field. In the end, we got over the line and that is what counts. It is certainly going to uplift the mood. We always talk about coming here and doing well in these conditions. We will try to make it 3-0 and go to New Zealand on a high."
Romario Shepherd (POTM): "Well, we know from the start, it would be difficult to hit in the back end. Once we struggled, we knew we needed to start well with the ball. We did exactly that with Jayden and Jason Holder. We knew it would be hard for them to hit in the backend.

Yeah, with a small total like that, there is no room for error. Once they get a big partnership, the total seems very small.

(On dropped catches) Yeah, we all know it is part of the game. So, it was like, we knew we are having a bad day in the field. It is about putting it behind you, and focus on the next ball. We did exactly that, fielding coach would be mad at us for the way we did today. The way we fielded first night, tonight was totally different."
Player of the Match: Romario Shepherd
Litton Das (Bangladesh Captain): "(On the bowlers doing well to restrict WI to 149) Yeah, definitely. Last two to three series, our bowlers did really well. I am sorry for them as we couldn't win the match.

If you see, 150 isn't a big total especially in Chittagong. The thing is when we get stuck, we get out. For example, if I could have stayed till the end, we could have end. They bowled really well but the fielding wasn't great. We still couldn't get to the target."
Time for the Post-match Presentation!
9:10 PM IST, 9:40 PM Local Time: West Indies have won the match by 14 runs and taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match T20I series. Chasing 150, Bangladesh managed only 135/8 and crumbled in the latter half of their chase.

Electing to bat first, West Indies lost Brandon King (1) early in their innings. However, it didn't make much of an impact as Alick Athanaze (52) and skipper Shai Hope (55) batted extremely well and scored boundaries off almost every Bangladesh bowler. They batted so well that Bangladesh skipper Litton Das was forced to use seven bowlers in the innings.

The partnership between them lasted for 105 runs and became the highest one for any wicket for West Indies against Bangladesh in T20Is.

However, things changed for West Indies as they collapsed in the second half of the innings. It went from 106/1 to 149/9 by the end of the 20th over. In the last 53 balls, West Indies managed only 43 runs for the loss of eight wickets.

Both Nasum Ahmed (2/35) and Mustafizur Rahman (3/21) got a hat-trick chance each and were the pick of the bowlers.

In reply, Bangladesh also lost their first wicket early but unlike West Indies, they didn't have a big partnership and failed to score boundaries in the powerplay. However, opener Tanzid Hasan (61) batted well and tried his best to take Bangladesh over the line but failed as he was not well supported by any Bangladeshi batter.

Jaker Ali (17), who was playing his first match of the series, failed to make an impact and was even booed by the crowd for consistently failing to find boundaries.

West Indian bowlers took wickets at regular intervals. Akeal Hosein and Romario Shepherd took three wickets apiece. Notably. Hosein became the all-time second-highest wicket-taker of West Indies in T20Is during the match, surpassing former all-rounder Dwayne Bravo (78 scalps). However, the all-time highest wicket-taker of West Indies, Jason Holder, also bowled well today and picked up two wickets.

West Indies were very poor in their fielding today as they dropped several catches. Yet, they were able to win the game, thanks to some excellent bowling and poor shot-making from Bangladesh batters, which led to the latter's horrific batting collapse during the chase, especially in the final few overs.
19.6 A Hosein to N Ahmed
W WICKET!!!! West Indies seal the series with a game to spare. Akeal Hosein cleans up Nasum Ahmed on the final ball of the contest to help the tourists successfully defend 149 and take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series. Length ball wide outside off. 91.4 kph. Nasum looks to heave it across the line, gets an inside edge and the ball rolls back to hit the stumps. A 14-run victory for the Windies as they register a series win in Chattogram.
