Milestone
The Proteas plundered in Pindi. They head to Lahore, for the remaining two matches of this series, with their confidence high and momentum firmly with them.

For Pakistan, in the words of their own captain, "we need to turn it around in a few days." Remember, only a couple of nights before the teams lock horns again.

Do join us for the 2nd T20I on Friday, October 31st. For now, this is the troika of Darpan Tikiya, Ajay Pal Singh and Yogesh Kumar signing off. See you!
Donovan Ferreira (South Africa Captain): Yeah, very proud of the team. I think it was a collective effort. We started well in the powerplay with the bat, finished the innings well with George Linde in the end. Really kept it simple with the ball, just trying to hit the top of off stump. Just kept it really simple.

Yeah, so I am really proud of the team. When guys are rested, it gives opportunities to the new guys. I think we also put a nice total on the board and defended it today.

Yeah, I think Reeza held it nicely for us, which gave George a license to go hard in the end. Really proud of them. We had a good start in the powerplay which set it up nicely.

(On Corbin Bosch) Yeah, he bowled really well. He had really good energy on the ball. He usually goes for the yorkers but he hit the pitch hard today and got something out of the deck. All credit must go to him, he kept it simple and yeah, four wickets is an amazing achievement."
Salman Ali Agha (Pakistan captain): "We did not start well with the bowling. But we pulled things back. But with batting, we have been lacking consistently. We need to turn it around in a few days. I think we just need to exhibit proper batsmanship. We need to take singles and doubles and build partnerships. Right now, we are losing too many wickets in the middle. (On the bowling effort) In the powerplay, we did not start well. But we pulled back really well."
George Linde (POTM): "Umm, yeah, to be honest, I don't think I deserve this award. I think Corbin Bosch and Reeza Hendricks were amazing, they set the game for us. I feel they deserve this.

(On finishing well with the bat) Yeah, that's my role in the team. Thankfully, it came off today and hopefully it will come off next time as well.

To be honest, I knew what I wanted to do. But I didn't execute unfortunately. I just tried too hard and next thing, I just tried to remain calm and try to bowl the ball.

Yeah, it is an awesome venue. Pakistan are an amazing team, we know they will come hard in the next game but we will be ready for them."
