Jaker Ali (Bangladesh Captain):"It feels good. As a team we played good cricket. Today we were more clinical. Wicket was better than yesterday but the bowlers showed the character.
I think this is our job to take those chances against the quality spinners. We looked to get the boundaries. Credit goes to the boys. Sohan bhai did well after coming back. It is not easy to make a comeback like this. I am proud of the efforts."
Rashid Khan (Afghanistan Captain): "We delivered what we wanted but still short of some runs. Early on wicket was much better to bat on and I felt keeping those wickets but at the same time if you have a couple of big hits you need to realize 'it's time for me to accelerate'. If you go to top gear, you can't shift down. We have to realize these things. Value your wicket, don't lose it too easily. We have done it in Asia Cup and in these 2 games as well.
[On Abdullah bowling 1 over] When you have 16 overs of spin and Azmat does well with the new ball. I felt spinners were doing their job well and later on to bring the guy who made breakthroughs earlier for us. Azmat did it again but it was a bit harder managing between the overs having so many spinners. He is the future of Afghanistan and will get many opportunities."
Shoriful Islam (Player of the Match):"Wicket was good for batting also. We did normal things at practice. Thanks to the almighty, I got the success.
When I came to bat Sohan bhai said that don't give wickets easily. I said anything fuller and I will hit. I just did that and we won the match."
Player of the Match: Shoriful Islam

11:29 PM IST, 9:59 PM Local Time: Ever seen an allrounder bat at number 10? Because Shoriful Islam has just delivered the goods with both ball and bat to seal the series for Bangladesh as they win the 2nd T20I by 2 wickets in the final over!
Bangladesh won the toss and asked Afghanistan to bat first. Shoriful and Mohammad Saifuddin were brought back in the lineup and both proved their worth with fantastic spells. Shoriful taking the new ball conceded just 13 runs and picked up the dangerous Rahmanullah Gurbaz (30).
Ibrahim Zadran (38) was the top scorer for Afghanistan who could only scrape through to 147/5 in their 20 overs as Saifuddin (0/22) and Nasum Ahmed (2/25) also bowled economic spells to contain the scoring.
The chase didn't start off as it did yesterday with both openers being removed cheaply in the first 3 overs by Azmatullah Omarzai. Azmat would have got 3 in the powerplay had Saif Hassan wasn't dropped for a duck but it was the comeback man Mujeeb Ur Rahman who sent Saif back in the dugout for 18.
Bangladesh were 37/3 at the end of powerplay scoring 2 more runs than Afghanistan in that stage. Shamim Hossain (33 off 22) and skipper Jaker Ali (32 off 25) stitched a partnership and upped the scoring rate.
Jaker struggled with some cramps after hitting Rashid to the boundary and was out leg before soon after also burning the team's last review. Shamim tried one shot too many against Noor Ahmad and perished in the 15th over.
The 16th over turned the game around as Mohammad Nabi conceded a six each off Nurul Hasan and Nasum to concede a total of 16 runs which was the biggest over of the innings at that stage only overcome in the penultimate over from Noor where he was dispatched for 17.
Skipper Rashid smartly removed Nasu in the next over and conceded only 2 runs to wrap his spell with 2/29. Saifuddin at number 8 hit a boundary against Omarzai first ball and nicked the next to the keeper.
Rashid at mid off dropped a tough chance to give Rishad Hossain a life but the Bangladeshi leg spinner was clean bowled by Omarzai the very next ball. With 19 required off the final 2 overs, Noor was taken for 17 runs in the dramatic over.
A six off the first ball, 3 runs off a wide which could have included a run out had Noor not mistakenly stood in between the throw and the stumps. Shoriful clubbed a boundary on the penultimate ball and retained the strike only to send the first Omarzai delivery in the final over to take Bangladesh to a victory finishing unbeaten on 11 off 6 balls along with Nurul (31* off 21).
Omarzai finished with 4/23, Mujeeb was economic with 1/18 but the trio comprising of them and Rashid couldn't quite hold the Bangladeshi batters back. Noor Ahmad and Mohammad Nabi both had off days with the ball. Abdullah Ahmadzai playing his first game of the series was only required to bowl 1 over.
