Some days are just like that. When you've got it going trying to hold on to it as long as possible. Pretty much just park it and sort of try and get away to the next game as possible. It's just a great surface from the groundsmen. Smaller boundaries than our home ground."

Hampton played the aggressorās role, racing to 53 off just 32 balls before left-arm spinner Ben Lockrose broke through in the ninth over. Joe Carter kept the momentum going with a sharp cameo of 22 off 13 deliveries before Troy Johnson dismissed him, but Clarke found another destructive partner in OāDonnell.
The duo added a rapid 93-run stand for the third wicket off just 40 balls, with OāDonnell hammering four sixes and a boundary in his explosive 41 off 19 balls, before Danru Ferns struck in the final over.
