Bangladesh wins the series 2-0 with a match left in the series. The good run under Litton Das' captaincy continues. For now, this is Arijit Kundu signing off, along with co-commentator Deepak Prakash and scorer Bishal Mondal. Many more contests are going on. Stay tuned for all other cricketing extravaganza.
Litton Das (Bangladesh Captain): "As a cricketer and captain, I always want to win every series, though itâs not always possible. Credit goes to every team member â theyâve been working hard over the past two weeks, putting in extra effort and executing their plans well.
Nasum hasnât played too many games, but he came in and performed brilliantly, which is a big positive for our team. Weâll keep building step by step, and at the end of the day, if you win, everything falls into place."
Nasum Ahmed (Player of the Match): "Yes, I am feeling very good. Nice to be contributing to the team's cause. During our warmup, we practiced with a wet ball to counteract dew. Everyone supported me. I played my last match here two years back. I played well then and now again I did good. So very happy about it."
Player of the Match: Nasum Ahmed
Scott Edwards (Netherlands Captain): "Yeah, obviously that was a pretty ordinary performance across all facets, so very disappointing. But weâve got one more game to try and rectify things and get ourselves into the position where we want to be playing our cricket.
Yeah, I think we probably didnât assess the conditions as well as we should have. The wicket was obviously on the slower side compared to the one we played on last time, and we were a bit slow to react. Suddenly youâre three or four down, and youâre just chasing the game from there. Yeah, absolutely. I think it was a slightly slower wicket, but still a pretty good one. Youâd probably want to be making around 170â180 there at least.
Yeah, probably. I think when youâre defending around 100 on a wicket like that, itâs always pretty tough. I thought we actually started quite well with the ball, and Aryan was outstanding in his first three overs during the powerplay. But when youâre defending 100, you really need to pick up three or four wickets in the powerplay."
It's time for the post-match presentation......

8:29 PM IST and 8:59 PM Local Time: Bangladesh steamrolls the Netherlands for the second time in the series. They seal the series 2-0 and dominate the Men in Orange.
Arriving for the paltry hunt of 104 runs, Parvez Hossain Emon and Tanzid Tamim glued a 40-run partnership before Kyle Klein got the better of Emon at the fag end of the powerplay.
Subsequently, Litton Das and Tanzid Hasan took their time and kept the scoreboard ticking. The duo didn't hurry for runs and continued to fetch some occasional boundaries. With time, they capitalised on the looseners as Tanzid switched gears, smashing Max O'Dowd left, right, and centre in his two overs. Win was always on the cards, and it took Bangladesh only 13.1 overs to seal the deal.
After being put in to bat first, the Netherlands suffered a nightmare start, collapsing under early pressure as wickets tumbled in no time. Nasum Ahmed made the first big impact, striking twice in the third over to give Bangladesh the upper hand. Vikramjit Singh tried to steady things with a quick 17-ball 24, but his dismissal only opened the floodgates further. The Bangladeshi bowlers kept chipping away, striking consistently and leaving the Dutch batting order in tatters.
The visitors struggled to build any meaningful partnerships, with wickets falling at regular intervals. Just when it seemed they would fold meekly, Aryan Dutt played a spirited hand down the order, smashing 30 off 24 balls to push the score past 100. His resistance, however, was short-lived as the Netherlands were eventually bundled out for 103 in the 18th over.
