Bangladesh have found wanting under pressure with the bat as they bow out of the tournament. Skipper Litton Das, one of the best T20I batters of the Tigers, had to sit out due to a back injury during crucial games, putting that extra bit of pressure on the side.

Pakistan's bowlers have come to their rescue yet again and put on a solid show in all phases of the innings, guiding the Men in Green to the final of the Asia Cup 2025, where they will meet India on Sunday at the same venue. It will be the first time in the tournament's history that India and Pakistan face off in the final.

Tomorrow, we have a dead rubber, with India facing Sri Lanka in the last match of the Super 4s. For now, this is me, AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my colleagues Ajay Pal Singh, Paras Yadav, Manish Bishnoi and Aman. We will meet again. Until then, it is cheers!

Salman Ali Agha (Pakistan Captain): "Well, if you can win these sort of games, you must be a special team. I think when it comes to bowling and fielding, we were outstanding. Everyone chipped in and the way Shaheen bowled up front and the way Haris bowled up front. We are team, who find a way to get to the final. But yeah, there is room for improvement when it comes to batting and we will be better in the final.

(Mohammad Haris) He's a special player, he is batting not at his favoured position. But he never complains, he always does what the team asks from him. I am very happy for him.

Well, we were 10-15 runs short. But I knew if we bowled the way we did, they will be under pressure. In games like these where it is almost like a semi-final, when you create pressure, it is hard to chase the total. We bowled well with the new ball. New ball in these conditions is really important.

We have been fielding really well. Shane has been working hard with everyone. The players are working extra hard, Mike Hesson has told the players, whoever can't field, won't get into the team. Players are working hard, I am happy with the way everyone is putting in the hard yards.

Pretty excited, we know we are good enough team to beat anyone and we will try to beat them (India) on Sunday."
Jaker Ali (Bangladesh Captain): "Yes, I think, as a batting unit, we have been poor in the last two games. That is where we lost the game. The bowling unit has been brilliant. But our batting has let us down. That is how we lost yesterday as well.

I am trying to take those chances. It's a bit tough, but I tried to take those chances and take my game. I am trying to adjust to the captaincy and enjoy the role.

Saif Hassan has been very good. As you can see, he has batted very well despite not having much support. The bowling group has been impressive. Rishad, Taskin, Mustafizur and Sakib have been doing well."
Shaheen Afridi (POTM): "Yeah, firstly I want to dedicate this award to my beautiful wife and my son. I just like normally, went to attack and get early breakthroughs for my team.

Yeah, in a short total, you need early breakthrough. The three overs in the powerplay worked for us. I was just working on that delivery, we needed a wicket and I got it.

(On his batting promotion) When you lose early wickets, team decides I go with Faheem and Nawaz behind him. I hit two sixes and got momentum in our hand. Yeah, we are ready (on facing India in the final).
