12:41 am IST and Local Time: So West Delhi Lions have been crowned the champions of DPL 2025. We hope you enjoyed our coverage of this final. This is Sourya Chowdhury signing off on behalf of myself, my fellow commentator Hiren Kumar and our scorer Paras Yadav.
Nitish Rana, Captain, West Delhi Lions: "I am very happy to lead my team to the win. This is my first trophy as captain despite having captain many sides. I wasn't involved in the auction but the team was made brilliantly. Our message was individual goals must match team goals because our aim was to win the trophy and that's what we are doing."
West Delhi Lions players and officials are getting their winners' medals.
Jonty Sidhu, Captain, Central Delhi Kings: "We played great cricket throughout the tournament. We had an off day today. We dropped catches and also there was a collapse. Yes we missed Yash Dhull in opening. Our tournament went really well and we played good cricket throughout the tournament. My message for my team is that we will win next time."
The runner's up medals are being handed over to Central Delhi Kings players and officials.
Chief curator Ankit Datta is being felicitated.
Nitish Rana, Player of the Series: "I think it was important for me to get into form from the playoffs and I was happy to help the team. My mindset during the season was to score runs and help the team. I was batting well but wasn't getting big runs and the big innings came in the playoffs. This tournament was very important because I want to help Delhi win a trophy in any format this season."
Most Valuable Player of the Season: Nitish Rana
Outstanding Performer of the Season: Yash Dhull
Purple Cap: Money Grewal (20 wickets)
