Vyshak Vijaykumar (Gulbarga Mystics Captain): "These guys have worked really hard in practice. We knew these guys have it in them to finish games and it was time for them to showcase it in front of everyone.
If we talk about Gulbarga Mystics it is incomplete without Smaran. He has contributed immensely for us over the years and I hope he gets to play for India soon.
We have done the hard work, it was meant to happen. Prajwal Pavan was batting very well and took on the new bowlers. This was the plan and he did it very well.

11:44 PM IST and Local Time | Gulbarga Mystics have shown their composure and are coming out with flying colours against the Mysore Warriors. They have won the game by 8 wickets and with 12 balls to go. This victory is massive for them. A stunning comeback!
Manish Pandey won the toss and decided to bat first like he did yesterday. Mysore Warriors came to bat first and Karthik SU hit three maximums early in the innings to take the run rate upwards. But Lavish Kaushal removed CA Karthik to give the Warriors an early jolt. Karthik SU later hit Kaushal for three boundaries but later mistimed a pull to find Prajwal Pavan on 36 off 17.
The star of the batting was M Venkatesh. The makeshift number 3 batter of the Warriors proved his mettle and batted really well. He and Harshil Dharmani took their time and accelerated. Their partnership yielded 72 of 48 balls before Dharmani holed out to Pravin Dubey of Vyshak Vijaykumar. Venkatesh hit a few more big hits to score 77 off 50 balls. His innings was decorated by 5 fours and 4 sixes. His dismissal brought a collapse for the Warriors. They lost 6 wickets in the last 15 balls of their innings and scored only 13 runs. Manish Pandey ran himself out on 12, Krishnappa Gowtham got out for a duck and the others gifted their wickets. The momentum Warriors lost there was the fatal one.
For the Mystics, Lavish Kaushal took 3 wickets. Monish Reddy took 2 and Vijaykumar celebrated a wicket. Together they bowled excellently in the death overs to restrict the Warriors to 184.
Gulbarga Mystics came to bat first and Luvnith Sisodia gave them a solid start. He found two boundaries early and scored 23 runs off 14 balls with 2 fours and 2 sixes. Despite Sisodia getting out after a promising start, Nikin Jose and Prajwal Pavan never looked in pressure. They decided to take their time and together found boundaries at regular intervals. Their calculative stay in the middle added 92 runs off just 60 balls. They both were looking good for a fifty but Prajwal gave a faint edge to the keeper who pouched it safely to send him back for 45 off 33 balls.
Smaran Ravichandran then came in and took the aggressor's role. He and Jose added runs in a jiffy. They added an unbeaten 63 off 29 balls out of which Smaran scored 52. He hit 5 fours and 4 sixes to score that off just 22 balls and finished the game with a maximum. Nikin Jose firmly got to his fifty and he also finished with an unbeaten 52 beside his name.
For Mysore Warriors, Codanda Ajit Karthik and Yashovardhan Parantap took a wicket each.
