Shreyas Gopal (Mangaluru Dragons Captain): "100%. It gives us a lot of confidence. We have a day's break, then we will have two back-to-back games. I think we always had a par total on the board. But we could have got 200 runs.
There was no plan to bowl the second. But I got the backing from the team management. Thus, I backed my decision and I paid off."

The batters set it up with a fine show, posting 180. Shreyas Gopal and Kranthi Kumar's three-fers then sealed the deal for the Dragons.
Earlier in the game, the Gulbarga Mystics won the toss and opted to bowl first. In the first over, rain arrived and we had a short delay.
After the interval, 21 runs came off Monish Reddy's first over. Left-arm spinner Prithviraj Shekawat broke the 54-run opening stand between Sharath BR and Lochan Gowda.
Macneil Noronha played a blinder of a knock, scoring 53 off 28. Shreyas Gopal chipped in with an unbeaten knock of 20. Pallav Das, the impact sub, made 11. The Dragons finished at 180 from their 20 overs.
Monish Reddy and Vijaykumar Vyshak picked up two wickets each while Prithviraj Shekawat was the star with the ball, taking 3 for 21.
In reply, Mystics too scored 21 runs off the first over. However, Shreyas Gopal took the onus on himself and bowled two overs in the powerplay. He got rid of Luvnith Sisodia in the 4th over of the run chase. In the same over, Nikin Jose also lost his wicket.
Mystics kept losing wickets at regular intervals and were eventually bowled out for 147 in the final over. Shreyas Gopal and Kranthi Kumar picked up three wickets each. Ronit More and Macneil Noronha bagged one apiece.
