Eoin Morgan (England Champions Captain) : "It is almost a perfect game for us. We did well today and got a great spectacle today. Ravi Bopara played really well today and we posted a good total. Our bowlers did really well. I think the score we posted was not above par, the ground staff did really well for us to prepare such a good pitch.
It is great to have him(Moeen Ali) back after the test match from Manchester. We will congratulate the lads today and we are looking forward for the fixtures coming up as we still have a sniff for the qualification."
Yuvraj Singh (India Champion): "I think we did not bowl well. 200 was chase-able. We didn't get enough runs and momentum. England bowled better than us. Bopara and Bell batted really well and if you don't take wickets you are going to get hit for runs.
Harbhajan is a legend of the game. He bowled really well in the death overs today. Very proud of the way he bowled.
I was set up for a few more sixes, but it did not come off in the end unfortunately."
Ravi Bopara (POTM) : "Yeah, very good for us. It is nice to get a win today. Obviously, we posted a good score on the board but the India's side had dangerous batters. Ajmal bowled really well for us in the backend and even took the wicket of Yusuf Pathan as well. When you get older, it is expected to get good from you."

Yuvraj Singh, captain of India Champions won the toss and opted to bowl first at Headingley Stadium, Leeds in this must win encounter for both sides.
England lost their first wicket early and had a shaky start, but was followed by a gigantic partnership between Ian Bell and Ravi Bopara.

Ravi Bopara, demoted from the opening role, took charge in the partnership, getting the needed boundaries. The onslaught from Bopara continued even after the partnership broke. He ended up unbeaten at the end of 20 overs, adding 110 runs from 55 balls, with 8 fours and 8 sixes in it.
Moeen Ali and Samit Patel, played perfect partners for Bopara, taking the target to a gigantic 223/3 at the end of 20 overs.
India's bowling was very average and got hammered throughout the innings. The only shining light from the bowling attack was Harbhajan Singh, who gave away only 18 runs in his 3 overs and picked the wickets of 2 set batters.
Coming out to chase 224, India were off to a shaky start. Robin Uthappa departed for a silver duck, followed by a stingy partnership between Shikhar Dhawan and Ambati Rayudu, who failed to get going. Ryan Sidebottom bowled a scintillating spell, bowling his 4 overs in the first 7 overs, gave away only 20 runs in it, and took a wicket.
Ambati Rayudu got some momentum by his side, after the dismissal of Shikhar Dhawan, but he departed for 28 off 21, after settling in. Stuart Binny, played a stellar knock, turning the heat on and bringing the momentum towards India. He scored 35 runs off 13 balls, with 3 fours and 3 sixes in it.
Yuvraj Singh, played a handy part in the second innings. Taking the side out of a disastrous situation to have a hope towards completing the chase. He added 38 runs off 27 balls, with 4 fours and a six in it.
Yusuf Pathan, continued the momentum after the dismissal of Stuart Binny becoming the highest scorer for India in the match. He scored 52 off 29 balls, with 6 fours and 2 sixes.
