Milestone
That marks the end of our coverage of the 10th match of WCL 2025 between India Champions and Australia Champions. Australia Champions were down to 65/4 in a 204-run chase but Callum Ferguson led his team with the second fiddles from Daniel Christian, Ben Cutting and Rob Quiney to clinch a victory with just a ball to go.

For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Arjun Bhalla and Mohammad Anab and our scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Don't go anywhere. Switch the tabs to follow the Test match between England and India and the second game of today's WCL double-header.
Brett Lee (Australia Champions Captain): "It was a beautiful wicket and very good for batting. Knew if we can take it deep then we had a chance. In the last game it was Chris Lynn. This time Callum Ferguson and Dan Christian did the job for us. Callum Ferguson is like Benjamin Button. He is getting better and better."
Yuvraj Singh (India Champions Captain): "I think we had enough on the board. But a couple of dropped catches cost us.

We took early wickets and thought we had the game in control. If you don't take wickets, Australians can be tough for you. We didn't bowl well and didn't take the catches. You can debate that it would've been better if we had 5 or 10 more on the board but you have to take the catches.

My body is in a good condition now."
Callum Ferguson (Player of the Match): "You are in for a challenge when you play against India. Our bowlers did a great job in keeping India at 200. But it was not easy to bat against any type of bowler on this surface. When I came in to bat, my aim was to just get the job done."

Time for the post-match presentations.
8:27 PM IST and 3:57 PM Local Time | India Champions fell flat once again in this tournament. Australia Champions have kept their nerves and eventually came out victorious in this contest. They have defeated the India Champions by 4 wickets.

Robin Uthappa and Shikhar Dhawan came to open the innings for the India Champions. They together batted really well in their opening partnership to add 57 runs off 32 balls. Uthappa contributed 37 runs off 21 balls. Right after Uthappa's dismissal, Ambati Rayudu got out for a silver duck. Suresh Raina however didn't score runs as it was expected from him. Yuvraj Singh also got out for just 3.

Shikhar was then partnered by Yusuf Pathan. They together smashed the bowlers for fun. The 5th wicket partnership was of 100 runs from just 46 balls. Yusuf remained unbeaten on 52 off 23 balls hitting 3 fours and 4 sixes. Shikhar Dhawan was the top scorer of the India's innings scoring 91 off 60 balls with 12 fours and a maximum.

For Australia Champions, Daniel Christian took 2 wickets for just 34 runs. Brett Lee and D'Arcy Short picked up a wicket each.

Coming to chase the big target of 204, Chris Lynn started bashing the Indian bowlers. He hit Vinay Kumar and Siddarth Kaul but Harbhajan Singh cut his innings short. He got out for 25. There were three left handers in the batting order next and Piyush Chawla removed all of them. Shaun Marsh, D'Arcy Short and Ben Dunk were his victims. Australia were reduced to 65/4.

Callum Ferguson and Daniel Christian took the charge when nobody thought of the Aussies to have a chance. The former was the aggressor in that partnership. Christian assisted him and got out on 39 off 28 balls. Callum Ferguson at the other end was a tad watchful against the spinners but went hammer and tongs against the pacers. Ben Cutting then replaced him in the crease and hit Harbhajan for two consecutive sixes in the 18th over. But just a ball later, Harbhajan removed him.

Rob Quiney came in as the impact sub replacing Brett Lee. He was struggling but the umpire called the final ball of the 19th over as a wide mistakenly and in the extra ball, Quiney hit a boundary to reduce the target. In the next over he smashed Irfan for a maximum and that snatched the game away. With 3 needed off the final 2 balls, Ferguson hoicked Irfan Pathan for a maximum to clinch the victory. His 70-run knock off 38 balls with 5 fours and 4 sixes made the difference between the two sides.

For India Champions, Piyush Chawla took 3 wickets for 36 runs. Harbhajan took 2 wickets for 33 runs. Vinay Kumar took a wicket.
