OKAYY... that is a wrap of this ODI series. New Zealand stay perfect, win the ODI series 3-0, continue their dominance after the 3-1 T20I win, and next up is the three-match Test series, where West Indies will hope to rewrite their fortunes and New Zealand will look to extend the script.

Until then, I am Dev Rajawat, signing off, along with my co-commentator Anirudh Modi, scorers Yogesh Kumar and Sahil Khan, and statistician Aman. That’s it from our side. Thanks for joining. But cricket doesn’t sleep. Plenty is happening around the world, from the Ashes to the India-South Africa 2nd Test Match. Switch tabs, follow the fun. Goodbye from this tab! TAKE CARE! BREATHE AND SMILE! CIAO!
And now, Mitchell Santner steps forward to receive the winning trophy, the silverware gleaming just as brightly as his team's performance throughout the series. The crowd erupted as he raised it high, and within seconds the full New Zealand squad gathered around him in front of the bold ā€œWinnersā€ backdrop. One by one, the players squeezed in, some with arms around each other, and a couple cheekily flashing victory signs for the cameras. The shutters clicked nonstop, capturing smiles, sweat, relief, and pure joy in one perfect frame of celebration.
Mitchell Santner (New Zealand's Skipper): "I’m really happy with the way the boys kept finding ways to win in different situations. If you look back at the first two games, even the T20s, there were a lot of tight contests, and to come out on the right side of those crunch moments is always pleasing. Today was another clinical one from the bowlers, and that’s been the story of the whole series.

Behind the scenes, there’s been a lot of planning and discussion around roles with the ball. What’s impressed me the most is the flexibility, as different guys stepped into different jobs at different stages. You throw the ball to someone, and they just get it done. As a captain, that’s all you can ask for.

It’s not often you go through a series with six seamers and every single one of them plays a role, but that’s exactly what happened, and it’s been outstanding. With the bat, we’ve had contributions from different players across the series as well.

In Napier, the openers gave us a great start. Today, we needed something through the middle, and Chapman and Bracewell stepped up brilliantly. The intent they showed turned the momentum and made the wicket look a lot easier than it was.

When you’re chasing a total like that, one solid partnership puts you in control, and they delivered it perfectly. Overall, what’s most pleasing is that it’s been different guys on different days. That’s the sign of a healthy squad and a team that’s enjoying their cricket. Really proud of the group, proud of the way everyone contributed, and delighted to lift the trophy once again for the Black Caps."
Shai Hope (West Indies Captain): "We are not clicking with the bat. We are not assessing the conditions and adapting our game. We won the toss and elected to bat; we needed to put up runs on the scoreboard.

We need to be better every day, learn from the opportunities. This pitch was similar to the conditions back home, but we did not get the flow. I must give credit to the bowlers for the fight they showed. We need to learn and take positives from this series with us ahead.

When you come to New Zealand, most teams don't find themselves on the winning side. In the T20 series and the ODIs, if we had clinched the crucial moments, we could have won both series. However, it is clear that these guys are playing good cricket and we just need to keep improving."
Kyle Jamieson (Player of the Series): "It feels really good. I think the biggest thing for me through this series has been consistency, just building game after game, getting rhythm back, recovering well, and backing up.

As a bowling unit, we set the tone together, and to finish with a series win makes it even more pleasing. Looking ahead to the Test series against the West Indies, I’m definitely pumped. It’s been great to get overs into the legs over these three ODIs, especially with the tough travel days in between. Now we’ll take a little bit of time to rest, reset, and go again because we know the Tests will be another scrap.

A big part of our success has been executing different plans. Every bowler had a different role at different times with the new ball, enforcing, holding up an end. That adaptability helped us, and the communication between us has been excellent. Hamilton demanded something different, Napier demanded something else, and we adjusted well.

In terms of my own bowling, I’m enjoying it again. The ball was coming out nicely, the run-up felt smooth, and the body was holding up well. There’s been a lot of hard work to get to this stage, so being able to play back-to-back games and complete a full series means a lot.

The focus now is just to keep stacking up games and stay consistent. Really happy with how things stand at the moment."

Matt Henry (Player of the Match): "We have played some good cricket in this series, and we have been doing some cool stuff in crucial moments. Everyone is stepping up in different ways, which is great.

It was quite a slow surface, it looked a little bit different. It's a small ground, you need to take wickets to put teams under pressure. It was a great bowling effort from the entire team.

It's an exciting stretch of cricket coming up with 3 Tests. Looking forward to the whites, it will be a great series."
