So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj, my co-commentator, Ajay Pal Singh as we wrap up the coverage of this fixture. A word of thanks to our scorer, Dushyant Kumar as well. Stay tuned to our network and join us for the 5th and final T20I on Thursday. In the meantime, there are other cricket matches going on as well. Don't forget to join us for those!
Mitchell Santner (New Zealand Captain): "Yes, with the overcast conditions and the ball swinging. Shame we couldn't get a full game. (Having close games) The more you put yourself in these kind of situations, more you are going to learn from it. We were on the right side of a couple of games. Hopefully, another good surface and a good game at Dunedin."
Shai Hope (West Indies Captain): "(On Dunedin being cooler) Yeah, well. We will see about that one. We didn't get the chance to go out there and maximise in this game. We still got a chance to go out there and level the series in the next game. That's our main focus.

Yeah, for sure. I was really looking forward to this series. Expecting better surfaces than what we had in Bangladesh. We have been playing good cricket, it is just about us trying to progress as a team. Unfortunately, we didn't win those last two games. But every time you put yourselves in those situations, you are on track."
08:43 AM IST, 04:13 PM Local Time: A disappointing result for the 4th T20I as the game has been abandoned due to inclement weather after only 6.3 overs of play. The series score-line stands at 2-1 in New Zealand's favour with the West Indies having a final chance to level the series at Dunedin on Thursday.

It was Mitchell Santner who won the toss and chose to bowl under overcast conditions. The Kiwi opening pacers, Kyle Jamieson and Jacob Duffy were exceptional as they made the ball talk. It was tough going for Alick Athanaze and Amir Jangoo who played and missed more often that not.

There was a first rain break but play re-started with a full 20-over game being possible at that time. Jimmy Neesham didn't take a long time to provide the breakthrough for the Kiwis with Alick Athanaze miscuing an attempted big shot to Daryl Mitchell at mid-on. However, the Nelson sky opened up once again after nine balls as the players went back to the shed with the West Indies at 38/1 after 6.3 overs. There was no resumption after that as constant rain meant that the match officials had to call off the game.

8:35 AM IST, 4:05 PM Local Time: Kim Cotton makes her way up to the New Zealand dressing room. She has a chat with New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner. Wayne Knights goes to West Indies change room and has a word with Shai Hope. Handshakes all round and looks like this game is done. The match has been officially called off. New Zealand cannot lose the series now. They lead 2-1 with a game to spare.
8:30 AM IST, 4 PM Local Time: The covers are back on as rain continues in Nelson. The cut-off time for a 5-over contest is 4:33 PM, but at this stage, it looks increasingly likely that the game will be called off. The three umpires make their way to the ground. However, the umbrellas are on.
8:20 AM IST, 3:50 PM Local Time: The players were supposed to be back on the field by now but that hasn't happened. Maybe the drizzle is back. We will be back with the official update as soon as we get one.
8:12 AM IST, 3:42 PM Local Time: We have some more good news coming in from Nelson. The match will resume at 3:50 PM Local Time (8:20 AM IST).
7:55 AM IST, 3:25 PM Local Time: The rain has stopped for the moment. The ground staff are using a rope to clear the moisture from the outfield. 3rd Umpire Chris Brown is out on the ground to inspect the conditions. He has a chat with the head of ground staff. The outfield looks pretty wet. There will be another inspection in 15 minutes time (8:15 AM IST, 3:45 PM Local Time).
