Bangladesh beat Pakistan in a low-scoring thriller and go 2-0, taking an unassailable lead in the series.  This is also two back-to-back series victories under captain Litton Das. That's it from us. This is Arijit Kundu, signing off along with co-commentator Ajay Pal Singh and scorer Manish Bishnoi. Good bye!
Lowest Scores for Pakistan After Losing First 5 wickets in T20Is:

15/5 vs Bangladesh in Mirpur, This Match*

16/5 vs Australia in Brisbane, 2024

19/5 vs Australia in Dubai, 2012
Litton Das (Bangladesh Captain): "Yes, our team ended up with the win. Although our batters were dismissed early, we managed to pull things off. We knew that anything around 130 would be fighting, and we can pull it off. Our bowlers bowled very well. After the 12th over, we didn't execute our plans, and that is where we slipped things to an extent. Also, another thing. Whatever happened yesterday in Bangladesh was pathetic. Also, we want to dedicate this win to the lives lost in yesterday's incident."
Jaker Ali (POTM): "It is quite difficult. Losing early wickets, I just told Shak to play normal cricket but he took his chances so I just supported him. I think this is my plan, to bat according to the situation. Taking the game deep and waiting for the ball to be in my zone.

Yes, bowlers doing exceptionally well throughout the series. They are doing great work for us. Pakistan played well but it is all about winning and losing and we had the last laugh."

Agha Salman (Pakistan Captain): "I think the way we started in the powerplay, we could have conceded 10 less runs maybe but that's how the game goes sometimes.

They both bowled really well. Salman was brilliant in both games and Daniyal comes in, in this game and he bowled well.

We want to bat well as a top-order. This is something we need to look at. 15/5 and then bringing the game this close, Faheem nearly took the game away from them but this is how the game goes.

We don't want to give up, that's what we are as a team. We have the belief that we can win the game from any situation. This is the kind of belief I want from my team. It is a thriller and you can say, for fans, it was worth their money."
Time for the post-match presentation...
This is a new Bangladesh set up under the leadership of Litton Das, and the skipper has been doing a fantastic job to take the nation to newer heights. Bangladesh takes an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the ensuing T20I series against Pakistan.

Eyeing to chase a paltry total, Pakistan fumbled as a hara-kiri moment on the last ball of the first over made way for a flurry of wickets at the start. The tag team of Shoriful Islam, and Tanzim Hasan Sakib bagged four wickets inside the powerplay, reducing Pakistan to 17/5 in 6 overs. Despite being in a precarious situation, Faheem Ashraf, under the subtle assistance of Khusdil Shah and Abbas Afridi, steered Pakistan near the target. From 62/7, a 20-run over off Rishad brought Pakistan into the contest. Ashraf initiated an assault that curtailed the equation to 13 required in the last over before it was all over with Ashraf's wicket.

Earlier, winning the toss and choosing to field first worked well for the visitors as the Pakistan bowlers snapped four wickets inside the powerplay. Bangladesh could afford only 29 runs inside the phase before a 53-run fifth-wicket partnership stabilised the stage for them. However, Mahedi departed for 33 off 25 balls, making way for another collapse in the slog overs. Despite losing wickets in regular intervals, Jaker Ali kept the fire burning, racking up a fifty and steering Bangladesh to 133 runs before getting bundled on the last ball of the innings.
