So, England spoil Sophie Devine’s final ODI game. But it was a stellar career and she bows out as one of the finest to play the 50-over format. England will face South Africa in the first semi-final on Wednesday in Guwahati. Before that, India are taking on Bangladesh in a rain-curtailed fixture right now in Navi Mumbai. Do switch tabs to follow the live-action.

For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash, scorer Ashok Dayma and statistician Aman. Until next time, cheers and good bye.
Nat Sciver-Brunt (England Women Captain): "Yeah, we really wanted to put in a strong performance today and reaffirm our trust in the methods we’ve followed throughout this tournament, which have been largely successful. So, yeah, we’re really happy to have produced that kind of performance today and to take some confidence into the semifinal.

I think it was about being proactive in the middle order with the bat. The conditions definitely played a part today. And with the ball, it was about reaffirming our plans and making sure the execution was spot on. But yeah, as a team, one thing we can all do to show how much we care for each other is through our fielding — keeping that energy up, especially when it was quite hot out there.

(On Sophie Ecclestone's injury) I don’t know anything further, but yeah, it was definitely precautionary. Obviously, we’ve got a huge match coming up against South Africa, so we wouldn’t want to risk anything right now. We’ll know more in a few days.

(On Jones) Yeah, she was brilliant. She started off with a great partnership alongside Tammy, and during our fielding innings, it felt like when the ball was still hard, it was a little easier to play. But they navigated that period really well, and having Amy there at the end was massively important. Hopefully, they can both take a lot of confidence into the next game."
Sophie Devine (New Zealand Women Captain): "Disappointing to be honest. I thought not about myself but wanted to get off on a high. It wasn't that performance today. Credit to England. They stuck at it and kept us under pressure. A disappointing end but we will move on.

I think it's just that confidence and that belief. We spoke about it after last year's T20 World Cup that we can beat any team. The energy and the playfulness that everyone bring is just great. We have got such a high ceiling and for me, it's just about the belief that they have in themselves.

I actually didn't cry as much I thought so. There were a few tears at the end. But because I had announced it earlier, I was able to process a lot of emotions and I was able to speak with the guys back home. To play for 19 years was a great thing. It was never about the result for me today. It was just about finishing with my teammates. To be able to share that moment with Suzie Bates was great. We will spend some time in the dressing room, have some laughs and beers. I'm grateful to have a career that spanned 19 years.

(On Bates and Tahuhu) They just lift me up. I don't have a doubt that they will go on for years to come. I'm lucky to say them best mates. When they call time on their careers, I'll be here cheering for them.

So incredible to think how the women's cricket has grown. The opportunities are just unrecognizable. I'm excited about it and I'm going to be the biggest supporter of Women's game. I know how big it can go. Lessons learnt. Sport teaches you a lot. Today as well, we as professional athletes get judged on result. But it's about spending time with your mates. It has taught me a lot of perspectives. I just say to the younger kids that if you are riding the highs and lows of cricket, it's going to be a bumpy ride. Just enjoy the ride and have fun. Enjoy till it lasts but realize that cricket is just a game.

Thank you to everyone who have come up. To the media persons, to the opposition, to the fans, to my teammates. I'm just blessed to play for such a long time. I'm not done for yet and I'll be here, annoying everyone in the dressing room."
