A run-fest in Vizag ends in disappointment for India, as the Women in Blue suffer their second straight defeat. Australia, meanwhile, extend their unbeaten run in ODI World Cups to 13 games with this victory.

Alyssa Healy proved to be the difference between the two sides tonight with a match-defining knock. India will take on England next on October 19, while Australia face Bangladesh on October 16. Tomorrow, it’s South Africa vs Bangladesh at this same venue.

That’s all from us for now. This is Ajay Pal Singh, signing off on behalf of my colleagues Pritam Dey, AkshayaKrishna Polya, Aman, and Ghanendra Singh Thakur. Goodnight and goodbye!

Alyssa Healy (Australia Women Captain): "A great result. We'll take those 2 points. To chase 330 in a 50-over game is a new territory for us. Glad we have the confidence to do that, hopefully we don't have to do that again. But if we do, then we know we can do it.

No, I don't think there was changes. Top order felt like we needed to contribute. There was opportunity for us to do that, knowing we are chasing a big total. Getting a good start was crucial and it takes a lot of pressure off me when I have Litchfield on the other end. She takes the pressure off me. We got ourselves off to a good start and maintained the run-rate right throughout.

(on Sutherland) She's probably the pick of our bowlers from length perspective. She identified the lengths to bowl and executed perfectly. We tossed up a bit of junk today. We were able to hang in there. To say that we restricted them to 330 might sound ridiculous but we pegged them back in the end there.

(on Ash Gardner) Yeah, 100 percent. Partnerships are key, we lacked that in the first couple of games. We were able to have a significant one and be there at trhe end. T have Perry walking in at 30 not out is cheeky. Ultimately got the job done, that's crucial. There are cramp worms going around our group, but we have a couple of days to rest and recover."
Harmanpreet Kaur (India Women Captain): "Well, I think today, the way we started. We thought we could have added more 30-40 runs on the board. Today's pitch was different, we could not capitalise the last few overs and that cost us in the end.

They have been outstanding for us, they have been giving us good starts. Because of them we have been putting good runs on the board. Last 5 overs cost us today.

We were not batting well in the middle overs in the previous games. Today, we did well in the first 40 overs but could not do well in the last 10.

She has been outstanding. She was not even giving anything away against Healy. We trust her to give us breakthroughs.

We will have to sit and discuss. This combination has given us a lot of success. Two bad games cannot change that. Hopefully we can come up with a better approach."
