Akeal Hosein (West Indies Captain):"I think to come out and give this sort of performance after losing two games, it was an excellent effort and a clinical one as well. When we looked at the pitch tonight, totally different one. The guys were pleased with the amount of grass on it. Definitely, a new opening combination. Even though it was a small score, we had to take it on and set up a platform. I mean we owe everything to them, we have been disappointing for a while. Hopefully, we can turn it around leading up to the World Cup.
I think they did pretty well. I must commend to Nepal, it meant a lot for the country as well shining some light on them. They did well in all three departments. The first two games, in their home series, they did well in familiar conditions. In the third game, they probably wanted to experiment and played on a green track."
Sundeep Jora gets the 'Everest Maximum Sixes of the Tournament' award.
Kushal Bhurtel has bagged the 'Player of the Series' award.
Ramon Simmonds has been named as the 'Player of the Match'.
Rohit Paudel (Nepal Captain):"Overall, the way we played in this series, I am very proud of the unit especially in the first 2 matches. We didn't turn up today but winning a bilateral series against a Test nation gives a lot of happiness.
The way we started, I thought a partnership was missing like the way we batted in the first two games. We gave away regular wickets and rotation of strike wasn't there. Credit goes to the West Indies openers. They were taking risks and getting reward for that.
The way we fielded in the series and absorbed the pressure when things didn't go our way. We executed our plans very well and did well in all three departments. This series will give a lot of confidence to the boys. This series acted as a build-up for the Qualifiers. We hope to take the momentum into the Qualifiers and make it to the 2026 T20 World Cup. Thank you to the fans for supporting us always."
