Akeal Hosein (West Indies Captain): "I think to come out and give this sort of performance after losing two games, it was an excellent effort and a clinical one as well. When we looked at the pitch tonight, totally different one. The guys were pleased with the amount of grass on it. Definitely, a new opening combination. The way we started, I thought a partnership was missing like the way we batted in the first two games. We gave away regular wickets and rotation of strike wasn't there. Credit goes to the West Indies openers. They were taking risks and getting reward for that.
The way we fielded in the series and absorbed the pressure when things didn't go our way. We executed our plans very well and did well in all three departments. This series will give a lot of confidence to the boys. This series acted as a build-up for the Qualifiers. We hope to take the momentum into the Qualifiers and make it to the 2026 T20 World Cup.
