Milestone
That's it from our coverage of WCPL 2025. Barbados Royals Women have extended their unbeaten run and have now lifted their third consecutive trophy. Guyana had their moments in the game but they spilled them.

This is Mohammad Anab, signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Arjun Bhalla and Manan Mehta and our scorer/analyst Bishal Mandal. Keep following Crex for our live coverage of cricket matching taking place around the world. Till then, it's a goodbye.
Chinelle Henry (Barbados Royals Women Captain): "Today was a good team. We showed what this team is made up of. A huge shout-out to Aaliyah Alleyne, she showed what she can do on her given day.

I had to fill in big shoes (of Hayley Matthews). She had her surgery today, and it's great what we could win it today. It goes to her.

I want to thank my coach (Ryan Hinds) as well. He is one of the best coaches in the franchise setup. He trusts us, he backs us, and he never puts pressure on us. Today, he was just sitting in the dressing room with us. He understands us. He has been with us for three seasons, and you can see what he has done."
Now, the champions are recieving their medals.
Shemaine Campbelle (Guyana Amazon Warriors Captain): "I think if we could have got a few runs more then we could have won the final. The bowlers did a great job but we were a bit short in the first innings.

Good to see the girls, especially the way they played. The atmosphere was very good. Hope they continue their form. Proud of them.

Very proud of the way Guyana hosted this tournament. It has been very nice. Guyanese crowd was very supportive throughout the tournament but more people should come to support women's cricket."
The Guyana Amazon Warriors are getting their runner's up medals.
Chamari Athapaththu (POTT): "Actually, I am happy, I am really happy with my performance and my team's performance. I want to thank this team's management.

I have been preparing for the World Cup, and this tournament has been a nice practice. Hopefully, I will carry forward this run in the World Cup as well.

This team is special. Barbados Royals have a great support. I wish my best, I hope we win a couple more titles in the coming seasons."
Player of the Tournament: Chamari Athapaththu
Highest Wicket-Taker of the Tournament: Laura Harris and Ashmini Munisar
Best Batter of the Tournament: Chamari Athapaththu
