So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj and my co-commentators, Arjun Bhalla and Mohammad Anab as we wrap up the coverage of this fixture. A note of thanks to our scorer, Raju Khariya as well. Stay tuned to our network with a lot more cricketing action coming up later on Sunday. Until next time, it is a warm good-bye from us.
Shemaine Campbelle (Guyana Amazon Warriors Women Captain): " We weren't in the final last year but this year we have done it, it's good. Good to see a couple of players stepping up. Stafanie and then Molly with the ball, she was so good. With the fans support, the excitement and confidence of the team was also boosted."
Deandra Dottin (Trinbago Knight Riders Women Captain): "My body is feeling alright, but it feels like a hard loss. We tried our best in this match, but we will come back bigger and better next season.

I try to play with freedom and confidence. It wasn't like we didn't play well, but things didn't go our way this season."
Time for the post-match presentation!
Stafanie Taylor (POTM): "I think we bowled really well. Credits to Penfold. The wicket was on the slower side, but we applied ourselves and then runs started to come in the end. The key was to play in the front 'V'.

The girls have settled in really nicely, even the foreign players.

We have always played well in this tournament, but it has always been the case of not crossing the final hurdle. Hopefully, we will do it this year; we surely have the side."
Player of the Match: Stafanie Taylor
4:40 AM IST, 7:10 PM Local Time: That's it! Guyana Amazon Warriors Women win the match by five wickets. Trinbago Knight Riders Women have now been eliminated from this edition of WCPL.

After chasing in the first two games, TKR decided to bat first in this do-or-die clash. However, they never looked in position to post a good total on the scoreboard. The team lost their openers Jannillea Glasgow (7) and Lizelle Lee (2) very quickly. Notably, Glasgow got dismissed through hit wicket.

The side was struggling at 39.3 after the end of eight overs until Jenn Jonassen and skipper Deandra Dottin decided to stay in the middle. The duo stitched a partnership of 77 runs with Jonassen even registering a half-century. Dottin compiled a well-made 31 off 33 balls.

Interestingly for Guyana, sixteen overs were bowled by the side's spinners and most of them bowled very tight. However, the pick of the bowler was pacer Molly Penfold who took 4/17 in her four. The Kiwi pacer took her last three wickets in the final over of the innings. It completely dented TKR's hope of reaching somewhere around 140 and ended up giving a target of only 124 runs.

Guyana came in to bat when the sun went down due to which the pitch also eased up a little for batting. Despite losing Realeanna Grimmond (1) early, Guyana never looked out of control in the chase. TKR bowlers ended up giving a whopping 28 runs in extras.

Amy Hunter made a solid 27 off 31 balls while Stafanie Taylor anchored chase and stayed almost till the end. She ended up scoring 39 off 44 balls. Taylor was also named the 'Player of the Match' as well.

Pacer Shikha Pandey and leggie Salonee Dangore ended up picking two wickets apiece. However, that was not enough and Guyana ended up winning the match by five wickets with seven balls to spare.

Despite two league games still left in the competition, it is now clear that the final will take place between Guyana and Barbados Royals Women on Wednesday (September 17).
