Akshay Wakhare (Euro Gladiators Captain): "It's a great feeling. The entire team is doing well. Hopefully, we will continue with this. Batters are doing their job from the first match itself. I hope they continue it further on. Kanwar was the game-changer today."
Priyank Panchal (Indian Warriors Captain): "We didn't bat or bowl well. We were 30-40 runs short here. I should have scored more for the team. I take the responsibility."
Sarul Kanwar (POTM): "It feels like what I feel daily. Raghav (Dhawan) backed me, he asked me to get to my century. I would like to take this momentum forward. We won't celebrate today, we will hold it for tomorrow."
Player of the Match: Sarul Kanwar
Gamechanger of the Match: Himanshu Chawla
Time for post-match presentation!
10:32 PM IST and Local Time | That would be it. Sarul Kanwar has made a crazy knock - scoring a century off just 39 balls to take the Euro Gladiators home in the last league game.
Chasing an under-par score, the Euro Gladiators lost Adil Reshi early in the chase. But Kanwar joined hands with Raghav Dhawan as the duo created history in Greater Noida.
They shared an unbeaten stand of 148 runs off just 65 balls, where Kanwar played the aggressor and Dhawan was the designated second fiddle.
The duo went behind every Indian Warriors' bowlers during their act. As a result, they were way ahead of the asking run out. After the halfway mark, it became a matter of time as they chased down 171 runs with 38 balls to spare.
Eventually, Dhawan sacrificed his half-century to help his partner get to his triple-figure mark! Stay tuned with us for the post-match presentation...
