So that marks the end of our coverage from the 5th T20 of the Intercontinental Legends Championship between African Lions and Asian Kings. African Lions have got a victory by a margin of 6 wickets.

For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Hiren Kumar and our scoring associates Bishal Mandal and Chandan Kumar Singh. Good night!
Herschelle Gibbs (African Lions Captain): "Ya win is a win. Obviously I watched the guys on TV yesterday before I came. The bowlers upfront set the tone for the rest of the innings. If you get a few wickets early and tighten the innings in the middle. We lost the intensity in batting a bit but it is okay. A win is a win!"
Tillakaratne Dilshan (Asian Lions Captain): "We did not bat well. The wicket was a good one to bat on. 170-175 was the par score here. The middle order need to start taking responsibility. Hopefully, we can bounce back stronger in the next game."
Christopher Mpofu (Player of the Match): "I've always enjoyed playing here. Last year I got 15 wickets in this tournament. The wicket was a bit low and slow, so it was safe to bowl as straight as we can. That was the idea and we all followed it to get the success."

Welcome to the post match presentation.
10:54 PM IST | African Lions have outplayed the Asian Kings by 6 wickets. They were brilliant in all the facets of the game.

Asian Kings' skipper Dilshan elected to bat first after winning the toss and himself started going hard at the bowlers. He scored 26 off 13 balls but got no support from Parvez Aziz and Mayank Tehlan at the other end. He perished trying to be aggressive and his dismissal slowed the innings. Kunal Saikia, Karanveer Singh and Diwesh Pathania- all were sloppy in their innings. Umang Sharma got a few boundaries but the Lions' bowlers kept troubling him. A fantastic cameo innings of Imtiaz Ahmed off 35 from 20 balls helped the Kings to reach 138 from their 20 overs.

Christopher Mpofu was the star of the bowling show picking up 3 wickets for 27 runs. Pawan Suyal, Ali Murtaza, Sudeep Tyagi and Subodh Bhati took a wicket each.

African Lions came to chase the run and lost their skipper Herschelle Gibbs early in the innings. But Rahul Yadav continued the run flow with consistent boundaries. He was well partnered by Shekar Sirohi who hit 2 fours and a maximum on his way to score 22 off 19 balls. Sirohi got run out but Rahul Yadav continued with the momentum. Rahul eventually got to his fifty but got dismissed soon after. His 54-run knock made the difference between the two sides.

Shivam Sharma and Ali Murtaza added 30 runs in just 15 balls to secure the victory for their team. Murtaza remained unbeaten on 18 off 5 balls and Shivam scored 21 off 17 balls.

For Asian Kings, Diwesh Pathania, Karanveer Singh and Parvez Aziz took a wicket each.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentations.
