That's it from all of us for this game. Do switch tabs as the second semi-final between Northamptonshire and Hampshire isn't far away. For now, this is Deepak Prakash, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Akshay Bhide and scorer Paras Yadav. Ta ta. Bye bye.
Tom Kohler-Cadmore (POTM): "Yeah, itās nice to be back out there. Last year didnāt really go to plan, so we want to put that right now. I thought it was a good pitchāthere was a bit of nibble early on, but the longer you spent out there, the better it got. Weāve got a great bowling lineup, and thatās definitely one of our biggest strengths.
Of course, weāve got quality batters too, but more often than not, itās the bowlers who come through for usāwhether by restricting the opposition or making things easier when weāre chasing. For now, weāll just head back to the hotel, relax a bit, spend some time with family, and switch off for a while."

6:27 PM IST, 1:57 PM Local Time: Thatās it. Somerset are through to the final of the T20 Blast 2025. They will now play their third consecutive T20 Blast final. A convincing win for them as they beat Lancashire by 23 runs. Somerset advance to their eighth T20 Blast Final. All smiles in the Somerset camp whereas contrasting scenes in the opposition dugout.
Chasing 183, skipper Keaton Jennings gave Lancashire a blazing start. Luke Wells (7) and Matthew Hurst (5) fell cheaply but Jennings kept scoring at a brisk rate. He received good support from Liam Livingstone as they finished the powerplay on 73/2. Jennings scored 44 off 28 before holing out in the deep in the eighth over.
Somerset pulled back things post Jenningsā departure. Gregory trapped Livingstone (29) in the 12th over. A bit of controversy in the middle as Livingstone said he hit it and reviewed it, but the third umpire thought otherwise and asked the on-field umpire to stay with his original decision. Michal Jones kept Lancashire in the hunt, despite losing Arav Shetty (6) and Jack Blatherwick (15) at the other end.
The equation came down to 39 from 18. Somersetās bowlers displayed a death-bowling masterclass and made sure that they close out the game. Jones scored 35-ball 36 but it wasn't enough as Lancashire got knocked over on 159 in 19.5 overs to lose the game by 23 runs. Migael Pretorius (3/27), Lewis Gregory (2/21) and Ben Green (2/21) bowled beautifully for Somerset and entered the wickets column which helped them defend the total successfully.
Earlier, Somerset lost Will Smeed (5) cheaply after they were inserted to bat. Tom Abell at three looked good for his 26 before falling on the final ball of the powerplay. Tom Kohler-Cadmore at the top of the order played beautifully and held the innings nicely from one end, bringing up his fifty in 38 balls.
Kohler-Cadmore went berserk in the death overs. His 52-ball 81 laid a solid foundation for a strong finish and cameos from Craig Overton (16* off 6) and Migael Pretorius (12* off 3) powered Somerset to 182/7 at the end of their innings.
Lancashire were sloppy in the field. James Anderson (2/34), Thomas Aspinwall (1/36), George Balderson (3/31) and Tom Hartley (1/24) were the wicket-takers for them but they let things slip in the death overs. As a result, they were chasing a tall total and they fell short by 23 runs, with Somerset advancing to yet another final.
